Hotel Caballo de Oro

Fantastic stay bteween 30/09/2024 and 07/10/2024. Great staff and good food. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Would stay agin. Only downside was evening meal was at 8pm which is too late for us, but the Spanish eat later. In a good location as well.

Just got back from a 3 night stay Was travelling solo so wanted to make sure a was going to be safe. Check in on arrival was quick was on the 7th floor overlooking Tommy's bar which does bingo and 2 for 1 drinks Room was very clean but a bit dated but that was no problem Had a TV with a few English channels as this hotel Caters more for the Spanish which is not a problem at all Rooms have baths and showers and the showers were the best IV ever used in any hotel. Beds are comfy with Maid service everyday. Got told you had to hire a fridge but was already one in my room when I arrived Aircon was a must due to the extreme heat over but they were also radiators Only cost me a extra €20 to up grade from B&B to full board Breakfast lunch and dinner were standard but catered for Spanish etc which again I don't mind your in Spain. Bottles of water €1 bottle of wine started from €4 Pool area is big and clean with more than enough sunbeds tables and chairs Only downside was the lifts only 2 which room forever especially round meal times so I must of lost a few 1lbs going up and down. They is also a big bar area with lots of seating I am fussy and I would go again they say you get what you pay for and this 2 me was a bargain They is also a slight incline if you have disability issues They are also safes to hire and hairdryers in bathroom

The hotel is located not far from British Square and half way between the new and old town. The hotel really caters for an older Spanish clientele and would not be suitable for young families. The room was pleasant if a little dated. It was clean and well maintained. There were no English channels on my TV and the rooms do not have fridges - though you can hire them. There is wifi but it is somewhat slow and unreliable. The bed I found very comfortable and there was a large balcony. Breakfast did have warm and cold items - perhaps not entirely to British tastes. The dining room was rather understaffed at breakfast and finding a clean table was difficult. I found no problems with the bathroom and the shower was more than adequate. Towels were changed daily. The pool was large for the size of the hotel. I guess it was a 25 metre pool with the last 5 metre sectioned off for children. The area around the pool was large and very pleasant. The hotel was significantly cheaper than comparable hotels in the area.

Very good location, central to the centre of benidorm. We went on a stag do so was only a 5 minute walk to all the bars which was good. Very clean hotel but rooms are a bit dated, breakfast not really up to much. We felt like we stuck out a bit as we was the only non Spanish people staying at the hotel. Get what you pay for.

No lo recomiendo. 3 estrellas justitas. Las habitaciones discretas, tiene bañera, griferia muy estropeada, bien balcón pero los colchones fatal. 3 veces he comunicado el cambio en recepción y ni caso El buffet tirando a malo, la ensalada la misma, la comida poca variacion y a veces ponen lo q sobra de la cena en el desayuno... Siempre la misma bolleria, el mismo embutido.. Mal muy mal La animacion aburrida y el baile es con musica enlatada, la misma todas las noches. Nada de espectaculos y nada de música en directo. Fatal

Hemos estado 12 dias un grupo de amigas y todo correcto pero hemos de comentar que la comida estaba asquerosa, no sabias ni que coger porque solo la presencia te daba para atrás. El resto correcto, habitaciones ,limpieza,baile, personal un poco antipático.
