Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, a Royal Hideaway Hotel

Very nice hotel with exceptional service. Very spacious hotel with loads of things to explore. Beautiful grounds with a variety of gardens and vegetation which gives a unique feel to the hotel. Restaurants are good with plenty variety for different palates

We went to Asia Gardens for Christmas. The hotel is stunning. And rooms are spacious. We wanted interconnecting rooms but they gave us connecting rooms from the outside. If you want interconnecting rooms do request them from the inside. They did rectify this for us. They had the most amazing buffet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But being vegetarian we could not enjoy this. It was extremely meat heavy. The executive chef Martin was great and made us vegetarian food but when having a Christmas buffet it would be good to have a few items rather than just one veg item brought to the table. In low season when the buffet is closed you can go to an a la carte restaurant where vegetarian food is better. Just be aware the food is very expensive so half board is a good option if you’re not vegetarian. I do appreciate the effort Martin made with us and if you have special dietary requirements you should insist on speaking to the head chef. It is very hard to get to speak to them but when you do they will do what they can to cater for you. I would personally like to thank Lucia for everything she did for us. She helped us a lot with sorting out the food, our interconnecting rooms etc. If it wasn’t for her our concerns would not have been sorted and the trip would have been a completely different experience for us. With a baby and toddler interconnecting rooms were a must for us. It would be beneficial if more staff could be trained to have the same customer service level as Lucia. Personally I’m not sure we would return until the kids are a bit older as it’s not the most baby friendly hotel. The kids club was good with daily activities and a play area. Rooms were kept clean and house keeping was very good. The toiletries were from The White Company and of high quality. The hotel was decorated nicely for Christmas with beautifully decorated trees around the hotel. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed spending Christmas at Asia Gardens thanks to Lucia and Martin.

Our stays here are now into the double figures since 2013 and it remains exceptional. The quality all round is second to none. Amazing pools. Cocktails. Breakfast. Service. Rooms. It's all fantastic. We recommend a hop to Altea Old Town - a super place to visit with brilliant restaurants. See you next year AG

Very disappointed with our stay in a so-called VIP suite at this high-end hotel. Promised services were not delivered, VIP breakfast restaurant closed without notice, and our kids were turned away. Communication was poor, and VIP status meant nothing. Totally unjustified for the price.

I landed on Thursday evening, to this beautiful secluded hotel in the middling what appears to me nowhere since I’m not familiar with the location of the country. This is my first solo travel so I was very much excited to attend, I booked and arranged directly with Love Holidays and paid for a shuttle to drop and pick me up since I’m a solo traveller. At first appearance, the fact that I landed in the evening and arrived at the hotel around 8:30-9;30ish where the shuttle bus driver stopped OUTSIDE of the security gate and told me to I’ve arrived. Of all the 5 star places I have been to- this was shocking. I got off the mini shuttle and walked apprehensively ( & freezing) to the security gate and said Hi I’m here as a guest. He asked for my name and I gave him my passport- he then checked me in and said I can go in. I took my luggage and walked alone through the car park where I was told someone would be waiting for me outside of the reception ( which he directed me to). He was right- there was a young gentleman in his work attire waiting for me- I was pleased to feel greeted, albeit the disappointed of the way which led me to him was still ingrained in my mind. I was then checked in- I cannot fault the staff as they have been nothing my polite and kind and very very friendly. On my last day; as I waited for the shuttle transfer to arrive, I noticed that the reservation letter said I must walk to the roundabout outside of the hotel for pick up. I was surprised again and what was a lovely few days, yet again would soon be wrapped with disappointment. It is now raining and the weather is chilly for me- I called the emergency line given to me to ask if the shuttle bus can come to the hotel and I was flooded by a number of personal opinions of the personnel on the phone trying to convince me the roundabout is built around the hotel. Again, as a solo first time traveller I began to get apprehensive and walked to the receptionist to request that security guard call in to let me know when there here, she asked that I speak to the guest desk. So I did. I walked over to her in her red blazer, she didn’t have the same kind gesture as the rest of the ladies behind the check in desk- I felt a sense of obnoxiousness. I asked her if she could let me know when the transfer would be here - she didn’t say much, she picked up her phone and had a conversation with a laughter and smiles on her face. There was no reassurance- no attempt to ease my worries- she got off the phone and said yes the shuttle bus will come- I asked if the security guard would call- she said it will come here. I don’t know what that means- as I’m currently here still waiting and I hope it’ll arrive, but she was probably the only person didn’t suit the hotels calibre. Other than this; lovely & beautiful hotel- overpriced however that is expected in 5 star listed hotels. There is nothing five star about this resort other than the price. Everything is extra. I have just been down to get tennis rackets for the kids- each racket is 10 euro and the balls are even ten euro!!! On top of that you also have to pay 45 euro to use the court!!! I guess the 650 a night we are paying literally only covers the bed we sleep in. Be warned- this is an expensive place to visit!
