Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa

The facility is very well equipped and we had so much to do. Personally, I spent a lot of time at the pool and in front of the beach, but also spent time practicing tennis, went to gym, to balance the good amount of eating and drinking there. There’s also a pool table (although I feel it needs better equipment), a club, a cafe, a healthy eating cafe and so much more. We had a good time overall

I stayed during Christmas 2022 and it was raining therefore no one could enjoy the resort however the food is terrible and the service

If you need a reset, Dreams Sapphire is the place to go. Everyone is warm and welcome and they anticipate your every need. I would, and will, go back. We upgraded to the Indigo Preferred with a private swim out. I highly recommend it. Every single staff member from the front desk to the maintenance workers were so kind and so helpful. Thank you for all the love!

Very nice and friendly people and good service throughout hotel. Plenty of activities for children and adults. Terrible damp and mold in rooms. Be careful with your belongings it is bad to the point you will have to throw away stuff. Not to mention health concern with mold. Food ranging from inedible to decent. Dirty beach full of plastic, seaweed is not even the issue. For whatever reason hotel to the right has barrier in place that seems to help alot with seaweed and trash. But directly in front of Dream Sapphire is pretty bad. Overall this is a 3 star place by European standards with a higher service standard

The Governors suite is beautiful! Highly recommended for couples. Beautiful hotel and very welcoming environment . My husband and I went for a birthday celebration and we were surprised with cake in the room with a happy birthday message. The balcony with the Jacuzzi was amazing.

This resort is absolutely the worst. The pool is a death trap, 4 of our family members were seriously injured. The best thing about the resort is the 24hr room service. They don’t clean the room consistently, there are never any towels. The front desk manager Odaliz was extremely disrespectful and her behaviour was disgusting. She threatened to call the police because she was asked to have the floors cleaned because our uncle slipped and sprained his ankle. The staff barely wore the right name tags which I think is due to having patrons tricked when complaining. Save your money you are better off anywhere else. The beach was never cleaned and the staff were mostly miserable. Shout out to Regina, David and Armando. Other than that close this down and start again. The cafe and revive bar was a nice touch but all the bars and entertainment close by 12am and there’s absolutely nothing to do. The security were rude and would see a bunch of people hanging outside of the cafe and turn the lights off. Definitely not the place to vacation if you are looking for respect, entertainment and fun.

First time in Mexico was a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Drawbacks - ice buckets in the room but no ice machines, pool towels not being immediately available to collect when heading down to the main pool around 10:00, smoke detector directly above the bed flashing during the night. I also didn’t think too much of the evening entertainment, the fire show and Fernando Keops were very good, the rest of the shows not so much. Positives - all the bar staff are very friendly and efficient with serving guests. Especially Marco at Barracuda, the definition of service with a smile with a lovely mango margarita to boot. Filiberto at the barefoot bar knows how to cook a delicious burger. The daily entertainment team (Mar, Omar, Sergio, Regina, Richi, Tony, Geral and Julio) were great. You can tell they really enjoy the activities they run and interacting with guests (even if they sometimes lose track of the score). The daily crazy game is always a barrel of laughs. The umbrella provided in the room is a very nice touch and was definitely needed and appreciated while I was here (storm Helene). Overall really enjoyed my stay and an experience like this definitely makes me want to return to Mexico and this hotel and/or try one of their sister hotels under the Dreams umbrella.

We upgraded to the Preferred guest package and are so glad we did. The upgraded adults only pool and the preferred air-conditioned lounge were absolutely perfect. We had great service from all the staff we had throughout our two week stay but special thanks go to "Dave" the amazing pool waiter we had for our first week in the preferred pool. We reserved our beds round the pool every morning and they were expertly prepared exactly where we wanted them each day. The preferred also gave us the option to a delicious a la carte breakfast every morning in the Bluewater Grill for a more intimate setting away from the World Cafe. The steaks were fabulous at the Bluewater Grill and the service was excellent. El Patio had a wonderful traditional Mexican choice of food, all cooked freshly for us. In PortoFino the Mediterranean choices were fabulous with a mix of Spanish and Italian dishes and again great service. All round a great trip but just a word of warning if you usually get bitten by mossies whilst away they will LOVE you! Take insect repellent and bite cream as we all had at least a few bites and that can be really irritating when combined with sunbathing.

We were literally just at Dreams Sapphire for our wedding and let me just tell you everything was amazing! Carmen our wedding coordinator was very attentive and everything was perfecto ! We had over 70 guest that stayed and they all had great things to say. The food was great! Every morning at World Cafe the omelets were delicious. The staff was so attentive to all our guest needs. This Resort was definitely a 10/10
