went to river spring lodge for a 50th anniversary party , When I came to the Lodge I was Met By Carolyn who took My breakfast order and gave Me My Room Key. The room was clean and cozy with a walk in shower and a nice bed and view of the pond. The best was yet to come, Chef David made a bacon wrapped chicken breast that was cooked so tender and cooked to perfection. Dinner started with a salad with homemade salad dressing and entree then a bread pudding dessert. With piano music during the dinner it created a great vibe. The breakfast included coffee and juice and a breakfast sandwich with a potato side and a slice of cinnamon bread. I slept well and was met with breakfast at my door. Carolyn and chef David I thank you for a wonderful stay. If you want to get a 5 star getaway with a caring staff and great food I Know you will love this place out of the way in a remote setting.

We had a wonderful stay at River Spring. The location alone makes for a restful, serene experience. Carol is a warm, welcoming and helpful host. Our room was beautiful and clean with an amazing shower and comfortable bed. We loved having coffee and a delicious breakfast brought to the room. What a treat! We look forward to our next visit to the area and River Spring Lodge.

Perfect ! Service is amazing , food is delicious … room is clean cozy and comfortable, heated tranquil and picturesque scenery .. can’t say one thing negative about these accommodations . Will definitely return again . If you are planning on going to Darien amphitheater for a concert this is the place to stay or even for a relaxing getaway .

As two young women, we had the best time at river spring lodge. From the hostess, to the rooms, to the food, to the amenities… we had a 10/10 experience!

This place was amazing. So clean, quiet, comfortable. The hosts were very kind and beyond accommodating. Early morning coffee service was so nice and the breakfast was so good. Appreciate the amazing stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our third time staying with them. They are wonderful host always willing to accommodate, they treat us like family! Love this beautiful gem back in off road, very quite but not far from things. Loved our time spent here, we will be going back Lord willing. Wonderful breakfast brought to our room every morning. Such a wonderful couple!

Absolutely amazing! Where to start. Large bathroom, clean king sized bed, delicious breakfast brought to your room, privacy and lovely hosts. Love love love! I’ll definitely be back! Also super close to Darien lake if you’re looking for a great place after a concert!

A beautiful and peaceful place with at bath tub! A major cut above a chain hotel. Warm and professional welcome. Consideration about food and the timing of coffee and breakfast. After a long drive and a full day of work, I looked forward to winding down at River Spring Lodge! Carolyn is a gracious host and I enjoyed the food and coffee.
