We have gone two years in a row around the same timeframe each year. Our main goal each trip is to relax and enjoy life. We have stayed in the same cabin each time. It's perfect for our needs. We spend a day or two sightseeing, (fall colors, small shops, wineries, breweries, distilleries, etc.). We were able to go as far north to the Tunnel of Trees and still be back to the cabin in time to relax and enjoy the hot tub onsite. Cabin is equipped with all your needs (full kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc). They have larger items to check-out if needed. They also have a wall of board games to check-out for your stay. We do not fish, but we enjoyed watching the fisherman staying at the resort and enjoying the river. So peaceful! Chris & Misti are very welcoming and pleasant hosts! We are looking forward to booking our 3rd stay for 2025!

Words alone cannot capture the incredible experience we had at Betsie Riverside Resort over Labor Day weekend! It was obvious Chris and Misty always went above and beyond to assure the comfort, pleasure, and relaxation of their guests. Any requests we had, were met with a smile and the comment "be sure to let us know if there's anything else we can do." They were accommodating, personable, and professional. We needed to revise our reservations due to health issues and needed a handicap accessible cabin (#1). Everything was amazing! I can't imagine anyone being disappointed staying at Betsie Riverside Resort for what ever reason you want to stay in the area.

Cutest cabins. Very well supplied. Beds were comfortable. The cabins were clean. The owners were very kind and knowledgeable about the resort history and area. The salmon were running and it was cool to watch them swimming up river to spawn. My sister even tried to catch some with her fly rod. Unfortunately, the fish were not interested. We will stay there again.

The cabin was clean and fully furnished with comfortable beds. Cabin #9 where we stayed was right next to the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Firewood was provided for a fire our last night. A grill was right out our front door. The resort was minutes away from a grocery store,bait and tackle store. Minutes away from kayaking which we enjoyed in a crystal clear kayak .

Our first time staying at this resort and definitely not our last. Our cabin was so cute, very clean and had no musty smell like some other air bnb places near the lake. The bed comforter smelled so good. We also didn’t have to use bug spray when sitting outside. The resort itself and river is very clean and quiet. It’s definitely the perfect location. Not far from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Mountain and Traverse City. Grocery store and anything else you might need is less than 5 minutes away. The owners are super nice and very helpful. Can’t wait to come back. We didn’t want to leave!!

Nice comfortable cabins. Clean and nice property. Owners promptly replaced a broken shower handle upon our arrival. We were there for fishing, which happened to be good for salmon out of Frankfort the days we were there. It is a cabin, so don't expect a larger kitchen area.

Clean and quiet. Personable owners. We rented a duplex which was perfect for our family. Relaxing family time- easy distance to sleeping bear dunes. Nice to be able to cook in the kitchen and have time around the campfire in the evening. Nice pool and kids play area. Hope to visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this campground cabin over the July 4th weekend. The owners were incredibly nice and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, offering a cozy and comfortable retreat. The pool was spotless and refreshing, and the hot tub was just the right temperature, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The campground's size was ideal—small enough to avoid feeling crowded, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Beulah, Frankfort, and Glen Arbor, making it a perfect base for our adventures. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Amazing property. Stayed at one of the campsites right on the river. Everything was well cared for. Amenities for campsite were great; covered trash bin, picnic table, 2 chairs on site, firepit, bbq grill, firewood brought to site each night. The cabins looked amazing. Hope to return to one of those in the near future. The indoor pool and hot tub were AWESOME!!!! The owners take great pride in the resort and were super friendly and hard working.
