The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin. Birthday with daughter
Had a relaxing stay as usual but wish weather was more cooperative as we love the balcony in evenings. So sweet leaving us a cake it was delicious. Everything is thought of and beautifully decorated but as I get older have to watch the tub. Would be nice to have a bathmat for tub gets a little slippery. What is the name of body wash you have in tub it made my skin so soft. Your place is my favorite to stay. God bless!

Wurthman House was absolutely perfect. It's one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The location, decor, outdoor patio area, and host are all perfect. When I notified Robert that the coffee maker wasn't working, a new one was delivered promptly. I highly recommend staying at Wurthman House when visiting Berlin.

Birthday celebration
Wonderful in every way. No recommendations. Will return. Had opportunity to meet owner & learned history of the building, which was great. The pride he takes in the restoration of the building & its history is very evident. Many thanks to the Millers for their hospitality.

Better than a hotel
The price is reasonable and 100 times better than hotel. They never get hotel rooms clean enough for me (especially bathroom)This place was spotless!

Sisters from a Different Fellow
I and my two best girlfriends traveled to Berlin for a short stay that made a lasting memory. My ladies were visiting for the first time and.we.stayed at Wurthman House for the first but not the last time. We had a 3 hour plus drive that we filled with chats and laughter. Traveling to our destination on the back roads on 36 was filled with beautiful scenery and small town travel in the slow lane. Our group thanks you for providing our "home away from home"!

Precious Home away from Home
This apartment was absolutely precious!! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer this trip!! We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again! Every little detail of the place is beautiful!! The hosts are so sweet and so quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. Everything was so nice and so adorably decorated! We truly felt so cozy and right at home!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Amazing Stay

Cozy and refreshing!!!
Immaculate, love being right downtown and having a parking spot. Close to all shops.. all walkable!!!! 4th time staying here!!!! Mother/daughter get away, fantastic time!!!!
