Lovely room with view into the garden - great to have even in October. This helped the room to be very quiet. Pre-stay communication was good and welcome on arrival was very friendly. The hotel is very relaxed. Great location with underground, tram, train and bus links nearby. 15 mins walk to the government area. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and lots of attention from the cats! Bed was very comfortable.

Very beautiful small and particulary hotel with a special charm, a small green oasis in close to the center of Berlin. there is a green inner courtyard to relax . Just the best after an exhilarating day of city sightseeing! The breakfast was very good & for me very perfect - because I don't like big breakfastrooms - without any charme! They have 50m from the hotel a parking area, which is only for the guest of this hotel. Very friendly staff! When I stay in the future in Berlin again - I will come back!

With my wife, we went for a short sightseeing tour to Berlin and stayed four days at the Garden Living Hotel just 10 minutes’ walk from the Central Railways Station, which can be easily reached by the FEX train from the BER Airport. The reason for choosing this hotel was that a few years ago my wife and my daughter stayed already here and were very satisfied. The tram and underground stations were very near; therefore, we could easily reach all the places we wanted to visit (Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Berlin Cathedral, Alexanderplatz, Reichstag Building, etc.). Our room was on the 2nd floor, clean, large and nicely furnished. The hotel has a cozy boutique atmosphere. The staff was amicable and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Garden Living Hotel is great value for the price! We will return.

Lovely little boutique hotel. Had a very enjoyable stay in the best room with balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard garden. Very large room with good quality furniture and furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff Good location once you get your barring.

A haven in the vibrant centre of Berlin. Beautiful hotel with wooden floors and an old townhouse feel. Staff very welcoming - especially Carolina who took time to point us in the right direction for the sights. The hotel is only a 20 minute walk to Brandenburger Tor by the river, passing the German parliament. There are shorter walks to good restaurants. I recommend La Buvette (great wine & steak frites) on ChauseeStrasse or Schnitzelei Mitte between Novalis & Chausee Strassen. On Schiffbaudamm there is Ganymed, David Bowie's regular haunt. Looking forward to our next visit to Berlin & Garden Living!

What a gem of a find. Off a main street but you'd never know it once you enter the beautifully tranquil rear garden, an oasis of calm complete with summer house and two resident ginger cats!. Breakfast quite expensive but varied. Free coffee and tea at all times was an added bonus. Staff v friendly and accommodating, even switching our room when we asked for a bath instead of a shower. Perfect place to unwind after hours of city-centre walking! Metro and tram only 5 minutes walk away so great location

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich sehr gut, es ist verkehrstechnisch einfach perfekt angebunden. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers/Bads war vorbildlich. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aber wir waren dennoch wirklich enttäuscht, denn wir hatten uns auf ein geräumiges Zimmer eingestellt, wie man sie auf der Webseite des Hotels sieht, da wir eine der gehobeneren Zimmerkategorien gebucht hatten. Was wir vorfanden war jedoch ein sehr beengtes, verwinkeltes Zimmer mit einem winzigen Bad. Zu zweit konnte man sich wirklich kaum bewegen. Die einzige Sitzmöglichkeit war auf dem Bett, da unser Gepäck vor dem einzigen Stuhl (für 2 Personen!) & Schreibtisch stand, mangels Platz. Und das alles für EUR 200,— pro Nacht. Das empfanden wir als Abzocke, sorry to say. Da half auch der Blick auf den schönen Innenhof nicht. Auch die Ausstattung entsprach nicht der Hochwertigkeit, welche die Webseite suggerierte: der Boden war sichtbar aus Holzimitat (Plastik?), ebenso die Dusche innen verkleidet mit Plastikstein. Unschön. In Relation zum Zimmerpreis nicht adäquat.

Ontvangst en verblijf: inchecken ging snel. We hadden vantevoren onze gegevens gedeeld met het hotel. Kamer: onze mond viel open. We hadden al foto's gezien, maar dit overtrof de foto's. Verrassing: uitzicht op de binnentuin vanaf ons balkon. Af en toe even gebruik gemaakt van deze tuin. Bed groot en zeer goed, klein keukentje met koelkast/diepvriesvakje, magnetron, waterkoker en Dolce Gusto apparaat voor koffie. Badkamer met douche/wastafel/toilet zeer netjes. Ontbijt: zeer uitgebreid. OV: metro (Naturkundemuseum) en tram op 1 minuut lopen. Historisch centrum ook te voet goed bereikbaar (1,5 km).
