Mercure Hotel Berlin City West recensioner

It is a hotel a little from the centre of the city but next to a metro station so easy to get around.It is more of a business man hotel as it is next door to a multi national company in Siemens and the metro strop is called Siemensdamm. Very good breakfast rooms are a good size. We had issues with bookings regarding breakfast and city tax but the hotel honoured the booking and found it strange that city tax had already been paid. If you intend to stay at this hotel and go sightseeing I would buy days passes and then it does not matter. There is a supermarket across the road from the Hotel but restaurants are limited. the hotel has a bar if you like to sit around and have a drink.

Die Ausstattung sowie die Sauberkeit lassen leider zu wünschen übrig. Sehr altmodische Möbel, sowie ein enttäuschendes Badezimmer. Flecken im Bad, WC & im Waschbecken.. An der Rezeption wird mitgeteilt, dass die Zimmer bei einer Übernachtung von 2 Nächten nicht gereinigt werden. Man hätte zumindest eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer als Geste bereitstellen können. Dies war auch nicht der Fall. Vor Ankunft wurde am Telefon mitgeteilt, dass die Rezeption ab 00 Uhr nicht belegt ist und man deshalb früher im Hotel ankommen muss für ein Check in. Nach einer stressigen Anfahrt hab ich gemerkt, dass diese Info definitiv Quatsch war und an der Rezeption 24 Stunden jemand da ist. Einziger Vorteil: Balkon im Zimmer (was heutzutage auch nicht üblich ist :) )
