Hotel Kronprinz Berlin recensioner

Room was so big, and I have to wonder, did I just get a free upgrade? Though the WiFi is a bit weak. (No fridge/kettle. Hair dryer, safe, hangers, TV yes) Not too far away from metro station. All are good. Will come back if I come to Berlin again.

Hotel Kronprinz is perfect if you're looking for a budget hotel solution. The price is very competitive and the included breakfast is pretty good and worth it! The rooms have different standards and could definitely be refurbished but overall you can have a decent stay and a good night's sleep on comfy beds.

I stayed here for one night after flying in from Miami and having to attend the opera. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was charming and comfortable. I felt at home here, this hotel is a lot nicer than some chain or budget chain hotels that you find everywhere in Germany. There are transportation options and supermarkets nearby in case you need anything. Recommended.

They tried to charge me for “late check out” for just going to pick up my bags later.

I stayed here for five days and although the location and the room itself are pretty nice, the services included are quite lacking. For the entirety of my stay, the wi-fi was not working (except for a couple of odd hours in odd places at the hotel) and the staff could not care less about that fact. In general, most of the reception staff is quite unhelpful and although not rude, certainly not welcoming either. Breakfast was pretty decent, however not included in the price of the room. But, you do get a nice selection for 12 Euros. Overall, not a bad place to stay if you simply need a clean place with hot water while in Berlin.

Perfect location, friendly staff, smooth check in/out, not so good ventilation and the floor is noisy cracking when step on it .. Generally, recommended.

I had very bad experience with this hotel. There was not hot water for the entire two days spent at this hotel. When I complained that I should at least be compensated by min 50%, they refused and returned nothing. I felt it is unfair recognizing the service I received and what I paid. I felt cheated. In the room, TV is very small, only one pillow and bathroom is very small. Carpet was dirty and room was smelly. NO AC. I will not book here again. Not recommended at all.
