Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin

I was looking forward to staying at this hotel and unfortunately this hotel canceled my booking and left me stranded for my vacation. I booked this hotel in May for a stay in December, 7 months in advanced. At that time the hotel was supposed to open in December. While looking at the hotel's website in October, the opening date of the hotel changed to January. I was concerned about my booking and tried to contact the hotel through multiple avenues on October 12. This is where I ran into my first issues with this company, Radisson Hotels. I tried contacting the hotel directly, contacting Radisson Hotels through their site via chat, and submitting a ticket. I received no response until October 21 from the hotel. That is when we found out that they had cancelled our reservation. It seemed like they were willing to help us out, however, they picked an alternative hotel over 1 hour walk away from our original area. There was another Radisson hotel near our originally booked hotel, however, Radisson management did not think it was worth that much to make it up to us for cancelling our booking. Had I not contacted Radisson first, I would have arrived at the hotel and found out I had no accommodation. The fact that I had to be proactive and thankfully catch that the renovations and opening day had been moved back is a huge communication issue on this company's side. On top of all that we went through, to say that the rate discrepancy was too large for a problem Radisson caused and failed to communicate is, in my opinion, unacceptable. Radisson, please treat your guests better than you have treated me and my family.

So far we are only checking in. Very different to every other Radisson hotels in Europe. Lack on knowledge on the front desk is embarrassing. A person with a trainee badge was informing anither collegue what to do. And that was incorrect as well. We booked the Radisson for a specific reason and this is just a shambles. We will continue to book the elsewhere but unless these guys pull it out the bag. We will not be back here in Berlin. A very dissapointing start to our trip to Berlin.

You can expect anything good from this hotel. Being a Radisson is a label of comfort, friendly staff, clean amenities, toiletries you might need, delicious food and the location for this one is SUPER nice. Is close to the popular atractions without being to close, and also moneywise worth the value. bus and trains are walkable to reach and the neighborhood is super nice

This Radisson is absolutely delightful. Located in Alexanderplatz stunning area that offers everything bars cafes clubs pubs and locket shopping outlets. Fabian offers excellent advice and was truly a credit to this hotel. Staff in general highly knowledgeable. Room was again lovely with great standards as always. Coffee machine excellent and in general a lovely view of the square in front of the hotel. Food and drink again class delightful and tasty throughout my stay. Highly recommend for Berlin.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel in early December and loved every minute of it. The hotel is modern, clean and excellently located for all the main attractions in Berlin. We had an early flight and arrived way before check in and amazingly our room was already ready, plus we lucked out and got a view of the TV Tower even though we didn’t book one. 10/10 for the room! We didn’t eat in the hotel but there were lots of cafes, bars and restaurants locally. The spa was an added bonus for us as it gave us something to do on a cold rainy day, and the receptionist here was so helpful. The hotel bar and lobby was the main stand out for us though, having never seen anything like the AquaDom before. We were heartbroken to learn of the explosion today and the devastation it has caused to the hotel and the marine life within the Dom, so I felt compelled to write this review to thank the team so much for our wonderful stay. Once the hotel has been restored we will definitely be back.
