Great place to stay for a visit in Bernkastel- Kues. Rooms were a good size, super clean and beds were comfortable. There was a fan to cool down the room in the hotter weather. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing (buffet with lots of options German style). Parking was important to us and for the place to be in walking distance to the city centre (about 15 min or so). They do have a wine bar with lots of wines (but note that it was the only option in this neighbourhood). The only thing to be aware of is that the rooms are not very well insulated and you could hear noise from the neighbouring rooms. Also, there is no fridge in the room (didn’t bother us but something to be aware of). Overall we would highly recommend to stay here and hope to be back one day!!

Beautiful hotel in easy walking distance to the Alt Stadt. Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, GORGEOUS view of the castle from our room, very good traditional german breakfast. We felt this was great value for a wonderful stay in Bernkastel, would highly recommend!

Great room with very comfortable beds, very convenient situation (15 min by foot to the center of Bernkastel-Kues), parking spots available and one of the best breakfasts in terms of choice and quality.

This looked great on paper, and could have been as great as the restaurant in the building, but no. In regards to customer service this place misses the mark, big time! On arrival the male worker had a toddler on the reception desk. The pierced lady worker was on her phone, and seemed torn apart in between staying on the phone or attend to guests. During check in we asked for a place to eat, she had no idea if anything was open. This time of year is off season in the region so a little bit of actual knowledge would have been nice. However, after spending the afternoon outside in the area we return, and asked about hitting the winebar. It was 5pm, basically everything in the village, including the old town, was closed and she says: we open at 6pm. Case closed! This is where service minded people would have offered us a solution, but not this woman. Instead we spent 3h in the hotel room emptying the "mini bar", before heading for dinner. The room was fairly clean, has a paper thin door, but to get the automatic light on in the hallway leading into it one need to flap around ones arm to get the switch to take action. The pillows are a joke, and at breakfast the ordered hard boiled eggs sprayed out like lava cakes. So no, for sure this was not our cup of tea.

A great hotel with nice rooms and very friendly atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was just fantastic. Walking distance across the bridge to the old town. But we recommend a walk to the vinyards just above the hotel. The hotel offer both wine tasting and do also sell wine. There is no elevator so if staircases is a problem you are in for a challenge.

Die Beurteilung bezieht sich nur auf das Einzelzimmer im Nebengebäude, das zwar funktional eingerichtet, aber sehr klein war. Das Preisniveau dafür dann aber am oberen Ende. Zimmer ruhig. Frühstück sehr gut. Restaurant modern eingerichtet ,exquisite Weinkarte Speisen überzeugten nicht so ganz: Rieslingsuppe dünn, Tagliatelle mit Kalbsgeschnetzeltem fad.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit sehr sauberen, modern eingerichteten Zimmern. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich, mit frischen Bäckerbrötchen und allem was das Herz begehrt. Das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet zeitgemäße Gerichte mit Zutaten aus der Region. Sehr empfehlenswert sind die Ochsenbäckchen! Ob Hotel oder Restaurant, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ich komme gerne wieder!

Perfecto hospedaje , responde a las imágenes de los buscadores. Las habitaciones amplias , limpias bien dotadas , sin aire acondicionado solo un ventilador. El baño a mi gusto con ducha y no una incómoda bañera , bien dotada d3 detalles y elementos como lima, gorro. , algodón para desmaquillarse, etc !más que en los 4 estrellas,!. Parking frente al hotel ,con amplias plazas pero limitadas creo para abastecer a los clientes, aunque nosotros no tuvimos problemas. Solo un Inconveniente la recepcionista solo hablaba Alemán, un inconveniente a estas alturas. Si sales para cenar te tiñes que llevar las llaves, cierran el hotel sin servicio de recepción pero accedes con la llave de tu habitación. No se si tiene ascensor ( creo que no ) pero no lo busque . Por lo demás es un sitio ideal para quedarse en el Valle con nota de 9, 2 por lo del inglés que si no matricula de honor
