Retro, Ruth and Melanie from the Slalom Hotel gave us a really warm welcome. Breakfast is superb with delicious products. The room is clean and comfortable. The tea lounge is a nice addition with self serve drinks and homemade cookies. Ski in / ski out is possible and convenient ski room with boot warmers.

We only went for one night to discover the resort as it’s on our Portes du Soleil ski pass. Easy to drive to, hop on the cable car, jump on a skidoo/taxi and arrive down a steep slope to the Slalom. The owner is super friendly, and the rooms modern with wooden floors and underfloor heating. Nice bathroom and comfy beds. The breakfast is excellent. You can ski from the door to the T bar, although the path is a bit hairy, and walk up the road to the high street for restaurants- the hotel is actually a pension garni so no evening meals. You can leave your bags and pick them up after skiing, have a tea/coffee in small residents lounge. Good value for money and would recommend.

A lovely traditional small chalet-style hotel for rooms and breakfast. Rooms have a modern wooden feel, not chintzy. Had balcony with wide open views over the valley to the south, with gentle cowbells in the distance. Breakfast is good with 'usual' mix of cereals, bread, cheese ham and eggs. Owner is low key so suits those who enjoy quiet, unfussy hospitality. Can have ride to & from cablecar in the buggy if needed, but it's not far in decent weather. Good eating places within a stroll from hotel.

very nice and clean room. The view from the terrace of the room is wonderful. The staff help us to transport the luggage to the hotel. The breakfast is good. The location is good. And the town is very quiet and nice.

I stayed at Hotel Slalom for one night in February 2022, on a stopover before travelling to Zermatt, but I was so impressed with the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the service. I'll definitely be coming back! Although I only booked a single room, it had a balcony with the most awesome view across the Valais alps. The room was also very clean and modern with the wonderful Swiss chalet touch. Karin and Reto are very friendly and welcoming hosts, this added to the charm of the hotel which is not too big, but big enough to feel comfortable in. This will not be the only time for me to visit Bettmeralp, which is just beautiful, I'd happily stay at Hotel Slalom again. Thank you for the warm service and the great breakfast. This hotel also has a very clean and exceptionally well run kitchen ;)

The team makes everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. rooms are new, very clean, well isolated. The view on the mountains is stunning, transportation from and to the station very well organiyed. The breakfast is rich, healthy, offers diverse products, several joghurts, fruits, home made granola (!) and vegan porridge, local cheese, nice salami, and wonderful bread and viennoiseries. You really feel at home, a very nicely ran family hotel: we will be back.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel & loved it! Really comfortable room & lovely staff. Reto picked us up from the Seilbahn with the snow mobile & was very helpful making reservations for dinner. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the main street & close to the ski lifts which can be reached on skis from the hotel. The free minibar was a nice bonus.

Really typical wooden chalet hotel set in beautiful scenery and within the village. Great shower. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Long time since I have received this good service. Hotel is close to pistes ( ski in ski out) and restaurants and shops.

Unser Sohn hatte das Vergnügen, einen J+S Kids Instruktor Kurs zu absolvieren und die Zeit in diesem wunderbaren Hotel zu verbringen, und kann nur Positives berichten! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nur wenige Schritte von den Pisten entfernt, was das Skifahren unglaublich bequem macht. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, modern eingerichtet und bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die verschneiten Berge. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche Personal, das immer bereit ist, bei Fragen oder Wünschen zu helfen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Traum! Eine große Auswahl an frischen, lokalen Produkten, die den perfekten Start in den Tag bieten. Nach einem langen Tag auf der Piste kann man sich im Wellnessbereich wunderbar entspannen – die Sauna und der Whirlpool sind einfach himmlisch! Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen Skiurlaub erleben möchte. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!
