We stayed for 1 night at the lodge. We felt very welcome the entire time. The room is good and although water pressure was a bit unstable even the showers were pleasant, which to our experience is not always te case in India. We enjiyed a fantastic private safari with a knowledgable guide, and were lucky enough to spot wolves, striped hyena and jungle cats. Only negative point is that the pool was not open, even though the property is sold ad having a swimming pool. We would have liked a dip when we arrived after a long car ride .

excellent stay... without this comfort to go and see velavadar park would have been difficult. excellent birding/wildlife guide Mr. Amit Vegad was the best part to have. to show a Eurasian curlew while driving the jeep and stopping to show us in late evening shows his interest in the subject. spotting a rare site - jungle cat transferring a kitten in middle of the road in savana grass land was icing on the cake. also could film blackbuck fighting for territory, all 3 harriers (male and female) in best light was also very pleasing. the serene nature and moving around in savana grass land away from all hustle bustle of city life in diwali was a diwali well spend in nature. in 5 days of stay we took 5 safaris and 2 days of rest. it was excellent. food was good - could have been better but we got what we needed to be relaxed and happy. staff and team was very cooperative and smiling. worth visiting.

We had been there during deewali 2024. Excellent property, maintained very well excellent service happy go lucky staff eager to serve u...nice rooms.. Special mention shri Jagpal ji, shri Amitbhai, shri Mahipal ji.. Food part is very well taken care of for breakfast lunch dinner all buffet plus few room service menu.. They are happily serving special food like jain/ swaminarayan too.. Palitana jain pilgrimage and salangpur hanuman n BAPS temple is near by place to visit

It was great experience in Blackbuck safari lodge in velavadar, specifically their hospitality, cooperative staff and the facilities they provide. We did Safari also and seen Blackbucks approx 1500 nos and other animals+ birds. It is worth for any trip for 2-3 days.

Amit - Naturalist Thanks so much for sharing your excellent knowledge of birdlife and wildlife during our stay at the Blackbuck Safari Lodge. You were thoughtful of our interest in wildlife, allowing us to understand your comments and information for us to take many great photos. To complete our memorable trip, you even broke the speed record in the hope of seeing the hyenas. We were successful however in sighting the wolf, the blackbuck and a jungle cat with her kitten. Many, many thanks from Graham and Sandra Hotel Overall, a pleasant and comfortable hotel, with helpful and attentive staff. Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the hotel pool was not in the best of conditions and therefore we were unable to use it. Unknown to us, Gujarat is a vegetarian state and therefore a lack of meat was a problem for myself. Rooms were comfortable and clean

One of the best resort I would say, the staff is excellent and they try and do everything to make your stay most comfortable and memorable, I would like to give special thanks to Dalpat bhai and his team to give us outstanding services, the food was also superb, would definitely stay there again

A wonderful overnight stay at Blackbuck Safari Lodge. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and great food. Our morning safari with naturalist Amit was amazing - his passion and knowledge about his work really showed. Would recommend Blackbuck to all nature lovers.

WE REACHED FOR THE WEEKEND AND FOUND THE HOTEL VERY CALM AND SERENE. EXCELLENT STAFF WASS VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE, FOOD WAS SUPERB OVER ALL EXPERIENCE MADE THE HOTEL VERY HOMELY. THE BLACK BUCK SAFARI HOSTED BY THE HOTEL WAS GREAT AND THE GIUDE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE

Decent resort with great staff. Amit, the naturalist is an expert birder and very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the region. He was very helpful during the whole stay including the safaris...........,...,, ...................,,,,,,,,,
