Robinhood Resort

We had a great overnight stay at the Robinhood Resort. We stayed in number 22 which is a 2nd story studio. It slept 5 of us, 1 on the couch, 4 in 2 queen beds. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was split shower and sink and made it convenient for multiple guests. It has a fireplace which worked well and gave a great ambiance. Dining table for 4. It is conveniently located to “the village” with shopping, restaurants, and night life within 2 blocks. We will gladly return to Robinhood Resort in the future!

Just to say thank you my fine was fully refunded . So may be my previous review regarding the fine was a little early judged. Why does it have to be 200 characters long. When I want to correct my previous review . In there I criticised the fact that the staff entered my number plate & I was still fixed.

Shout out to Peter at the front desk, excellent service in taking reservation over the phone and then the quick and thorough check in process. Nice little motel in the village of big bear, clean rooms, relatively quiet for the location and the price couldn't be beat. Stayed on a Saturday night and the rate was $100 less for an equivalent sized room at competing hotels. We will be back!

Great location. But the room …. Where to start. No services for our 4 day stay. Had to request more coffee on the 3rd day. Had to take out our own trash. The room was way too dark-add a lamp. Mold in the bathroom. Funky smell in the room. No hot water from the bathroom sink. Holes in the screen door and didn’t have a lock. No AC. The heat was on the entire time. We stayed in Room #1. Reasonably priced until we need to stay another night and were charge $200. With all that was said so not worth the cost.

This place was pretty nice to stay at. It was clean and affordable but the bathroom needed to be updated. No Air conditioning so it was quite hot during the day. There was also a biker gang that was partying in the parking lot all night and the staff did nothing about it. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is not the place to go.

Large clean well equipped room with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Veranda with two chairs at front of room. Large foyer with drinks available, no breakfast provided but restaurant on site give 10% discount on 1 visit only.

Nice, ideally located Hotel. Everything is in walking distance. Clean air, the smell of redwood and fir, the nice restaurants close by are the major attractions. Beds are ok, room small but convenient.

I’ve been visiting Big Bear for many years but have always rented houses with friends. When my husband and I decided to go up just the two of us, we took a chance on booking a hotel room for the first time. We expected the accommodations to be somewhat older because much of Big Bear is that way, but our room exceeded our expectations. Our Standard King room with fireplace was spacious, extremely clean, well equipped (microwave, mini fridge, silverware, coffee maker and mugs), and all for a reasonable price. We will be coming here any time we need just a room instead of renting a house.

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway and are so glad we found the Robinhood resort. We booked a room with a Spa tub which had high ceilings, plenty of space and a cozy fireplace. Our room was spotless and perfectly situated right next to Big Bear Lake Village. Great for walking near the village shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful breakfast at their restaurant, Nottinghams before checking out. I would definitely recommend this place for your next trip to Big Bear!
