NO ONE AT THE SERVICE DESK WHEN I ARRIVED, HAD TO CALL A PHONE NUMBER, LEAVE A VM, FOR SOMEONE TO FINALLY ARRIVE TO CHECK US IN.
I PREVIOUSLY CALLED IN JULY TO CONFIRM FOR A DOWNSTARS ROOM WITH A KING SIZE BED.
WHEN WE ARRIVE THE ONLY ROOM AVAILABLE WAS ON THE FIRST FLOOR WAS WITH TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS.
THEN THE ATTACHED ROOM NEXT TO US WAS SMOKING AND THE FUMES CAME INTO OUR ROOM, HAD TO GO TO FRONT DESK TO FIND SOMEONE TO LET THEM KNOW OF THE SITUATION.
WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
WOULD NEVER REFER THEM EITHER

Small hotel 5 minutes walking to the village, right across the bowling Barn, walking distance to the village, a little noisy from the cars on the road but nothing big deal(no that many cars at night time anyways) Room#110: Large cozy room with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, heater toilet seat, nice size T.V. The front desk has some coffee, tea, granola bars, pancakes maker(no mix), toaster(no bread), massage sofa, small pool table, fireplace, some utensils. For the price, I think is a great place to stay, great location with walking distance to the shops. It is big bear where most of the places are super small and expensive. I will definitely come back. Remember is Big Bear where you go to enjoy the snow, the village or the lake not to stay in your room.

We had 2 rooms reserved for dec 22-26 of this year. We got an e-mail saying the room had been cancelled due to overbooking. then we check their web site that said those same days were available but were considerably more expensive. When I called they stated that they were doing construction during that time. Didn't answer when I asked why we could still book the rooms at higher price. they are simply price gouging. Save your money and find some place honest.

Such a great hotel. Really clean. Nice rooms. Everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and couch. All the staff personnel I met was so great, accommodating and sooo polite and friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again!! Looking forward to using the cool in-rom fireplace for my next stay, when it is not the heat of July!!!!

Fun place to stay close to the lake and the village. The newly renovated lobby was an awesome hang out. easy check in and check out, helpful staff. Friendly environment. free local trolly around town.

Fan and light and thermostat were broken so it’s hot . Missing fan light remote. There’s no luxury suite. Check the entire room before unpacking . Wiki does not work. Bed is comfy. Cost $150 BEFORE SKI BOARD season! Breakfast is a granola bar. Terrible value. Avoid!
