Very good hostel! Clean rooms and good showers. The cocktails and sandwiches are great. It’s a nice place to relax while traveling. It is a bit remote and there are no parties, so it might be more enjoyable to go with someone rather than alone. The staff is super friendly, and you can also rent bikes! The only thing I missed were shade and lounge areas by the pool.

My fiance booked jackaroo treehouse as a stop on our east coast adventure. A great hostel in a lovely peaceful surrounding. Clean facilities and a great onsite cafe/bar. Thank you to the lovely owner for dropping us into town when we missed the shuttle bus.

this is without doubt the best hostel me and my friend have been staying at during our time in australia! the staff is amazing, the facilities it’s so clean and nice, pool and rainforest right outside the door, food to buy and shuttle buses. It no byo alcohol allowed but made the hostel a calm and peaceful place. could really recommend

Really nice accommodation set in the middle of the rainforest. Facilities were good, didn’t have to wait to cook in the kitchen or use the bathrooms. Being in the rainforest there’s a few bugs and mosquitos so bring some spray and you’ll be all good! The owner Rob was lovely and gave some great tips about different things to do around the area. Beds were really comfy, but there weren’t any plug sockets by the beds in the room i was in so it’s handy to have a portable charger

Jackaroo Treehouse is a great place to get away for some peace and quiet. Nestled nicely on the edge of the Daintree, the Jackaroo Hostel has great facilities, a brilliant swimming pool, terrace overlooking the forest, immaculate facilities and a newly put in cafe/bar. Robert is a great host who has an abundance of local connections to ensure you have a good time and experience the local area. Myself and two friends went cycling for a day, Robert organised the bikes and also ensured he gave us a brief on all the things we could do locally. Robert also organised white water rafting along the River Tully for me on short noticed. Brilliant facilities and immaculately clean. Would 100% stay again, great place.

Jackaroo treehouse is a really cozy, calm and beautiful place to visit. The place is clean and fresh. You are always close to the nature and all the wonderful animals - I saw my first Cassowary here! With just a 20 min walk you can visit the beautiful mission beach. The guy who runs the place is very friendly and helping. Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful hostel in the middle of rainforest. Few mosquitoes so bring repellent. Great, clean facilities. Would definietly return and would highly recommend for peaceful nights stay.

Stayed here for two nights, it is a smaller hostel which makes it easier to meet other travellers, the atmosphere is very chill and and the outdoor areas are quite quirky.. Rob the owner is brill and very helpful!

I spent nine days in Jackaroo Treehouse working and exploring Mission Beach. It’s the perfect place to come and relax and see Mission Beach. The owner Rob is great, extremely helpful and nice, doing everything in his power to make everyone enjoy their stay. There are a lot of backpackers passing through so it’s a great place to meet fellow travellers. The location of the hostel is amazing, in the middle of the rain forest. This means that there aren’t any shops close by so make sure to bring enough food before going to the hostel. The kitchen was clean and the Wi-Fi fast enough to be able to work.
