Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre Broad Street

Really disappointed with this premier inn, we’ve stayed in quite a few and this one was by far the worst. The check in was chaotic and having paid for early check in you’d think they’d expect us early, when we got to the desk we had to wait while they moved some rooms around as they didn’t have one allocated to us. The room was ok but it was boiling hot and we only had one fan, the bed was hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were like rocks. It was in desperate need of a refurb and looked very tired. I hardly slept as other guests came back at all hours shouting and banging and several left in the early hours with suitcases, we could hear them all the way to the entrance and we were on the second floor. The cleaners had missed a previous guests rubbish under the bed and the sofa bed, it was easy enough to see without going under them so I can only guess they only changed the bed and bins no hoovering the etc. The breakfast was awful, everything was clearly the cheapest they could find and you could see through the bacon it was so thin. The coffee taste like it had powdered milk in it and even with an extra espresso in it was so weak I could hardly taste it. The poached eggs were still sat in a pool of water when delivered and were some how undercooked in the middle and overcooked on the outside! In short don’t bother look elsewhere
