The hotel is old but wonderful. It will be renovated next year. The view of the hotel is wonderful. There is a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are 3 pools. But the star of the hotel is definitely SEVGİ. Although she is tired, she always smiles and tries to take care of everyone. She is a wonderful girl, her energy never ends. There are so many negative situations in the hotel. But Sevgi made us forget all of them. If you come here, you should definitely meet this girl. She is the bar manager and prepares wonderful cocktails. The bar team is also wonderful. We think that Sevgi is the reason for all of these. We thank the restaurant and bar team endlessly. Don't be fooled by the negative comments. Come to Riva and have fun. The rooms are old but for those who like to have fun, these are not a problem at all.❤️❤️😘🌞🌊

I loved the hotel. The food is very good and delicious. The lady at Sunset Bar whose name means “LOVE” is wonderful😍 She never rests, finds a solution to every problem, always smiling. We loved her energy. The cocktails she makes are delicious. It was my first time here but I will definitely come again. The rooms are a little old but we went out all the time. This is not a big problem. The food, cakes, salads are great. There are 3 pools. Music is playing all the time.

Riva… wow… the rooms are what they are, nothing special but that’s fine! They are in need of some TLC. Our shower head fell off mid shower and the wallpaper was peeling! They are clean though and the cleaners do a good job refreshing your room every day. The food… awful! I know we were in a different country but the breakfast offer never changed, it was the same everyday and it was very poor. The toaster just makes your bread stale it’s that slow. The hot buffet is all geared towards the other nationalities that visit (German, Russian etc) The pancakes were ok but the chocolate sauce bowl was obviously never cleaned or changed in the week we stayed! Lunch & dinner wasn’t much better, the guy making the breads is a very nice guy but other than that the salads are very obviously just put in a fridge and reused the next day, if you’re going to do that at least make it look fresh! They even do what can only be described as leftovers in a tray… they call it “all kinds of food”… unbelievable! They do offer a snack everyday… that’s awful too, and it’s burgers, literally everyday. It never changed! We ate out alot more than we had planned to but it was ok because the local restaurants are really good! Bamboo House and the pot kebab from Hollywood are really good! The one saving grace of this place is the bar staff, especially Love! She made us feel so welcome and was super friendly! Dennis is great too, we had a great time when talking to either of them at the bar. I guess you get what you pay for, it’s in a decent location with busses every 20 minutes to bodrum and the surrounding areas for only 60p! The views are lovely. Would we come back? Absolutely not, the 3 stars I’ve given it is purely because of Love, the views and the local area!

Not the most perfect hotel but price quality it is perfect. All the staff is so hard working. Every wish you have they make it happen. At the bar I had the best cocktails from Hasan. Such a funny guy, friendly. I will come back again. If you want 5* don't go here. But if you are happy with basics but good food and laughter definitely worth it.

Avoid at all cost…this hotel would not be able to operate in the UK, it is dirty, unsafe and food was limited and extremely basic at best. The hotel was so bad we relocated after 2 awful nights and would have done sooner if our agent was open on the Sunday. The finish in the rooms was terrible, broken tiles, picture frames, lamp shades, ripped wallpaper. There is no WiFi in the rooms, the beds are ancient and the noise that came off the bed frame when you rolled over woke you up…I’d liken it to a prison mattress! The bathrooms were dirty, doors hitting off the toilet pan when you open them, fixtures rusted and poor condition…the list goes on. A lot of the travel agents have this on as a 4 star hotel, it’s is no where near that, I’d struggle to give it 2. The fact it’s still on Trip Advisor at a 4.3 is a scandal. God knows who’s rating it highly, the only decent thing was the bar staff who were lovely. The atrium area at reception leaked when it rained, hence the towels all over the floor. There is one lift in the hotel…36 steps to get to the restaurant, 16 of which have no handrail and steps are broken and extremely unsafe. So if you have any type of mobility issues it’s a death trap…great fun to lug your luggage over too!! Just skip it and select any other hotel near the main part of Gumbet and save the heartache and stress that we had.
