The Aberford

Booked this hotel due to it being central near all amenities. On arrival given room 8 room was clean spacious everything you need for one night . There's a bar aswell . After night out got back bout 1am . Bed very uncomfortable not enough pillows no spare ones . No hotwater, everytime somebody used a tap or shower u can hear it the pipes rattle . Breakfast good selection full English was lovely. Hotwater for hot drinks wasn't very hot but for the price cannot complain staff very friendly no parking we parked near by I would recommend for a cheep night stay over . Downside we left a coat behind , the hotel have not answered the phone or replied to emails left messages since we left Sunday morning that's why iv dropped to a 3*

Stopped here for four nights during the air show weekend this year. Myself, my wife and our 2 year old Stanley absolutely loved our stay. A friendly atmosphere along with everything you’d expect from a b and b in Blackpool. Nothing was too much trouble. A great little bar where we met some families on an evening and chatted the night away. An excellent breakfast in the morning in a clean and well presented dining area. The location is great as within 2 minutes your walking along the prom. A clean bedroom with everything you need from tea and coffee to a tv and comfortable beds. We enjoyed a few games on the free pool table and even bought back on a few occasions some food from outside establishments which was encouraged by the owner and he even provided plates and cutlery for us to use with no bother. Overall we’d highly recommend staying here especially as a family as Stanley was looked after exceptionally especially at breakfast when toddlers can be hard work. Very welcoming and would not hesitate to return the next time we roll in to Blackpool.

We had the room on the ground floor which was good. It was quite big and had everything we needed. Lots of tea, coffee and milk supplied. The breakfast was great, there was so much choice and you could have as much or as little as you wanted. The staff were lovely and Neil was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that was not so good was the shower as it had a folding door, which didn't fold for some reason, but at least there was a shower curtain so not such a problem and we managed well enough.
