The Royal Windsor Hotel

Absolutely disgusted by the amount I’ve paid for such small room for 5 £270 for 2 nights and my daughter had no were to sleep had to sleep in her pushchair room was tiny went downstairs to tell someone the celling was pouring with water due to the rain never got offered any help to sort it had to stick a container I had under it and it was were my daughter pushchair had to fit told them when we left and all we got was it’s an old building does not matter weather it’s old or not it should be maintained properly to charge guests that price and also went to have a shower both nights and water was freezing ran the taps in the sink for 15 mins and stayed cold same goes for shower. The cups that’s left on the side were dirty aswell as cracks every were on the celling and window frames

Terrible hotel when I booked room they told me check in was 3 pm but I can leave my bag due to me arriving at 11 am got to hotel and there was no answer door locked trying calling no answer so I decided to go somewhere else it took me a week to get to talk to someone and they said I can't have refund very rude stay away from this hotel

Booked last minute. Old, dated and run down hotel, has to be one of the worst I’ve tried in Blackpool. Had to cover the window with towels to block out light and drafts as the blinds aren’t fit for purpose and the only space I had for the cot was near the window. Room isn’t big enough for the beds to fit , had to squeeze in the toilet and also room door. Room was all dated and run down. You need to leave a £50 cash deposit but they will over charge for items in the room if lost, broken or even if the covers get marked or stained. The quilts were already stained. You can park for £10 per night but have to leave the keys, but can park for free on the street near the hotel.

Pictures are not like the rooms the room we stayed in had bunkbeds and a double bed you couldn't open the door to bathroom properly as the bunkbeds where to near the door and it was disturbing the person sleeping as the door would bang it,the so called sea view was the back of the building with a puddle on the roof they charged £10pn for parking on a rough patch of ground the bar well can't say much about that,there was 2 members of staff that was really pleasant and cheerful so thank them for making our stay ok but I would not recommend this hotel

Booked this hotel as a halfway point driving up from France to Scotland, first impression was very tatty decor and dirty carpets, on given room 21, lots of stairs which can't be helped, room smelled as we walked in, small with again tatty poor painted walls, sink in room, tiny toilet and shower that was cold, never used shower , trip hazard coming out, car parking at rear with room for 8 cars causing block ins, £50 deposit and car keys to be left at reception. But bed was the comfiest ever, thin sheets and duvet with no under sheet, on leaving the next morning the car had obviously been moved as driver seat had been pushed way back and mirror moved. This has to be one of the worst I've ever stayed in

. Could feel all springs in mattress, even heard the ping. .Sea view?? Couldn't see anything but scaffolding .carpet wasn't fitted properly .toilet door didn't shut .broken corner on bathroom mirror-sharp .Blinds didn't cover full window .ceiling in room bevelled .bathroom very dated .didn't use shower at all .no toiletries - soap would be nice to wash hands .only 1 socket to use .stains on duvet, looked like old blood stains . They charge £10 daily to park out back of building .No remote for tv-had to ask at desk .Left place after first night
