I had a lovely night's stay here. My room was very cosy and comfy. The guest house is very clean and run by two very pleasant and friendly ladies. I slept well and felt safe here, as a solo female traveller. Breakfast (poached eggs on toast) was delicious and with great reviving coffee set me up for the morning. Thank you to both ladies for a fabulous stay.

Booked in but unfortunately something a mess up and we had to leave and so couldn't stay the weekend. Lovely owners and so so nice, shame we couldn't manage to stay. Will try and come back in the future. JOHN Glasgow

I had my first visit to the Gynway with my partner at the weekend, and I cannot fault anything about this place. Lynda and Petra were absolutely wonderful hosts and made me feel so welcome, I felt like i was visiting my favourite aunties. The room itself was spotlessly clean, the beds were so comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was like the icing on the cake, it was excellent. And to top it all the price was extremely reasonable. I can see many more visits here in my future, looking forward to my next stay next month.

Lynda and Petra are wonderful hosts, they made me feel like I was at home and they were genuinely interested in what I was doing. Everything was easy, no fuss whatsoever. They cook a great breakfast. The room is comfortable and spacious with good amenities (kettle and tea/coffee, TV, towels, tissues, wall hooks for clothes, plenty of drawer space). Very clean. In other locations I've paid over twice as much for a room half the size. Outstanding value for money. The location was perfect for me, as I was attending an event at the Imperial Hotel a minute's walk away, but it is a little far away (10-15 minute walk) from the train station and the Tower/Pleasure Beach area. I ate at two great restaurants a very short walk away and I'm sure there are plenty of others.

What can i say, always such hospitality, the room was spotlessly clean, The breakfast was lovely, Lynda & Petra have made a regular out of me. Really can not fault the hotel. You can see and feel the love that Lynda & Petra put into running this fantastic guest house. See you all again soon. Peter & Matthew

Booked here as wanted somewhere comfortable to stay as a family to see the Blackpool lights. Really glad that we did, Lynda and Petra are fantastic hosts which nothing is too much trouble. The family room was large, beds were comfortable and the room was warm which may not sound alot but it rained hard and this was early October so the nights are getting cold. Looking past other comments around the toilets not being in the rooms (which the website makes very clear when booking) or that you need to walk 20 mins to get to the tower, if you want somewhere that you will feel home from home, quiet location and the owners always on hand to help then look no further
