Lovely garden, very welcoming, eclectic artwork around the house adds greatly to the ambience. Two lovely blokes running the place who provide an excellent Scottish breakfast. The to gentlemen running this excellent establishment have good knowledge of the local area. The recommended Little’s Restaurant where we had a fine meal.

What a fabulous property, beautifully decorated to a high standard you are mesmerised as soon as you cross the threshold, our room was lovely with an immaculate en-suite which smelt amazing. Steve the host was warm and friendly and cooks the best mushrooms I have ever tasted 🥰 if you are looking for a fabulous retreat in beautiful surroundings with a gracious host and one of the best breakfasts in Scotland then get booking you will not be disappointed

Stayed here for one night. Made very welcome by Steve, gave an excellent restaurant recommend. Littles. Room and guesthouse absolutely brilliant, really well presented great furnishings. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. John absolutely on it from a service point of view. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Steve met us when we arrived and showed us around, the house is beautifully decorated and shows off Steve’s artwork to perfection. Downstairs is the breakfast room, lounge and honesty bar. Our room was spotless, and overlooked the garden, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast service was excellent, prepared by John and served by Steve. Thank you to both boys, we had a nice relaxing weekend away, we would definitely come back. 🙂

Our room was small but comfortable with a great separate shower (not the usual over the bath UK type), plenty of parking and lovely grounds with an eclectic variety of artworks and furnishings around the house. The bar area with an honesty pad to note drinks consumed was a nice touch. Steve & John are wonderful hosts and run a laid back casual place with an excellent breakfast prepared by John. Highly recommended and would stay again for longer.

Very grateful for another wonderfully warm welcome from Steve and John at beautiful Glensheiling House last weekend. 🙏😊 From the moment you drive into the grounds you know this is a rare and special place. All the rooms are stylish and spotlessly clean; the bedrooms are beautiful and have stunning views ; very comfortable beds and little touches throughout makes you feel very indulged. The food here has been excellent every time we have visited. Local produce and delicious ….. especially the eggs from the resident “ Glensheiling girls”! So nice to meet Gilly last weekend; she’s obviously a treasure! Thank you once again to Steve, John and Gilly. Looking forward to another enjoyable and therapeutically restful visit. Missing you already!!! 😞

Just back from a lovely overnight stay at Glenshieling house. A beautiful building and lovely grounds. Our room was very tastefully decorated and our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was first class. Definitely 10/10. I would highly recommend Glenshieling house. Thanks again John.

My wife and I found Glenshieling House on Tripadvisor, the reviews were good, it was fairly short notice so we booked! And we are very glad we did. The service and ambience is more akin to a five star hotel, not a B&B, the honesty just makes you smile! It was a perfect stay in every way, we liked it so much we bought some of the artwork Steve had on display! Just amazing!
