Hotel Aazaert by WP Hotels recensioner

For "several" years, we've been going back every time we go to the beach... and every time we're delighted... I highly recommend it to anyone going to the beach. It's in our Top 5/Top 10!! ;-) On the other hand, if I can make one criticism, the hotel is aging... it could do with a lot of changes/improvements... starting with air conditioning in each room, removing the carpet in the rooms, changing the curtains, etc. etc.

The hotel definitely no longer deserves a 4-star rating by Belgian standards. We received a welcome drink at the bar, which wasn’t really a bar but more like a counter (manned by the receptionist) in a room with only some old leather chairs. Zero bar atmosphere. Overall, the place felt outdated. The room was spacious but also dated. The wallpaper was peeling off, and the old-fashioned furniture had crooked doors. The bathroom did have a spacious shower and bathtub and was clean. However, the noise from the shower and toilet ventilation was ridiculously loud—especially on the toilet, where it felt like sitting in a sound box. The wellness area was okay. Two small saunas (70°C and 90°C) and a small steam room. A relaxation area and modern, clean showers. The two foot baths couldn’t be used because the stoppers were missing. The swimming pool was large enough and clean. Towels were available free of charge and lockers were provided. Breakfast was definitely fine. I wouldn’t book here again.

Very friendly staff, from check-inn desk to breakfast personal. We had a very nice room, with a good bed and fluffy pillows and a big bathroom. The breakfast is superb ! All you can think of that you need for breakfast is available. The hotel is situated in the center and very close to the beach.

Overpriced. Not value for the money. Very old furniture in the room. Breakfast is good. Wellness is pathetic. Haven't seen worse. 30€ extra for parking. 5€ extra for bathrobe. I felt lucky that we weren't charged for the bed once again at the checkout.

Room: Bathroom cleaned. However, Bed has double sheet and first mattress sheet were dirty and full of other people hairs. Looks like unwashed for very long time. Breakfast: Delicious food, various options. Service: Nice and very helpful stuff.

The staf is very friendly and helpfull. Excellent breakfast. A lot to eat. Very Nice drinks with Your breakfast. This was already the 10 time my friend and i stayer there and soon we Will go back. We always go to 3 of 4 times a Year and we stay each time for 4 days. We had a upgrade of our room and we did not have to pay more. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay at our Belgium coast. 👌👌

a problem with the television,a repairman that we saw in the lobby fixed it right away raelly good service,the wellness was fabulas and clean,nothing like swimming for 30 minuyes before a wonderfull breakfast with champagne and all tou can eat ,and very friendly hosts

Everything here is exceptional. Large room very clean with extra large bed, large fully equipped bathroom and of course exceptional breakfast. Staff is very helpful and atmosphere is widely 4**** granted. To be recommended for short or longer stay on Belgium coast.

Lovely and clean hotel. The breakfast-buffet was amazing and fresh. The staff were super helpfull and pleasant. Only in the room did we find some "scuff-marks" which indicates the age of the hotel. When mentioned, the staff were understanding and took note of this. We will be coming back!

Firstly the receptionist was great, honest and funny. Secondly the room was (without expecting anything) more than sufficient (hot water, small coffee, cleaned,..). Thirdly, the swimming pool is a pleasant comfort as well as the sauna... and finally the breakfast is certainly the best served in Blankenberg (we have already had around thirty breakfasts). people complaining is certainly because times are tough and everything is increasing and people like to complain instead of living the moment with friendly people.

We had a terrific stay at the Aazaert in Blakenberge. Stayed in the family room and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us. My son enjoyed having his own room. Staff was was so nice, especially the guy at the front desk. He made our trip! Wellness and Pool larger than in the pictures and recently renovated! Parking is secured, just one block away. We didn't try the breakfast but were told it's the "best breakfast in Blakenberge". Will 100% stay again.

everything was perfect the room, breakfast, the desk workers ,the welness facility,price quality can not be improved this is the fifth time we spent a few days there and it will not be the last the desk worker HILDE also gave us some good places to eat in the evening

The hotel was great and service was wonderful, highly recommended. The location is great, just two minutes walking to the beach, train station and the markets. Swimming pool, fitness, and Sauna are very clean. The room was very clean and good isolated.

The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The room is very clean and comfy. Breakfast is very good and lot of choices and they are refilling it immediately. Location of the hotel is near by the beach and shopping street.
