Malawi Sun Hotel & Conference Centre

We have had a great stay in Blantyre. Malawians are a wonderful and hospitable people and this is reflected in the way we have been treated at the hotel. Always a pleasant reception with a smile, always ready and helpful. The service has been excellent.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with a group of 28 people from the United States of America. They provided our lodging and our meals. The facilities are top-notch. The employees are attentive and very professional. The beds are comfortable and the showers are the best that I’ve ever found in Malawi. The food service was absolutely amazing! In the week that we stayed there, every meal that was served was excellent and delicious. I would highly recommend this property and will be staying here in the future many more times with groups that we work with.

An experience I won’t forget in while to come, the hospitality of the staff members and people of Malawi was amazing and wonderful. I highly recommend the Malawi sun hotel as a holiday destination for anyone wishing to visit and spend time in Malawi.

It was a nice hotel with a comfortable room and nice bathroom. I was there only for one night for work but we managed to have a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant and a quick breakfast, where I was happy to see they serve Mzuzu coffee. After coming back the staff also resent me my invoice upon request which was very kind of them.

Rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant food is great!!! Wifi was also great. The hotel staff is really kind aamd welcoming and they try their best to accommodate your needs. No gym but Blantyre and the hotel.location is great for a good run or walk!

The start of my stay was shake due to a misunderstanding during check in process. Once it came to the attention of the Front Office Manager, the issue was addressed and went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. The desire for Management to resolve issues was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and of high standard. The location is, quiet and not far from the airport. Meals were decent despite the need to upgrade the restaurant and the conference facilities were very good, with efficient service....always on time!. The entire staff team was very friendly throughout my stay. Some parts are still under construction but the disruptions was negligeable. Looking forward to when the entire facility is upgraded. I will definitely go back!
