I would like to say first that Homestead has always been our go to place to stay for years. I would really like to thank the staff for upgrading our room to the cottage. The cottage was great with one small exception. My wife has problems with her back and we could have used a firmer mattress. Maybe just check it out. Thanks again we will always choose Homestead as our place to stay. Thanks as always for your great service. Henry Long

Wonderful inn with excellent hosts. We enjoyed the fireplace and forceful showerhead. Since it's located in downtown Blowing Rock, we didn't have to move the car to eat or shop. There are chairs and swings in lovely garden areas. We definitely recommend The Homestead Inn!

As always great experience! The team goes beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodate your every need. We travel with our Aussie, Memphis he loves the walking area being on a side street. Close we walk to shop and the many restaurants that Blowing Rock offer.

We come up every December with another couple to enjoy all that blowing rock has to offer We decided to stay at the Homestead Inn this year and are so glad we did Everyone we came in contact with couldn’t have been nicer It was a perfect location, clean and well appointed We will be back !

It was very cold and the fireplace was wonderful to use to keep warm. We went during Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed our stay. Have been going for several years and staying at the Homestead. Plans are to return in 2025!! The beds are wonderful. It really feels like you are staying at home.

First time stay at Homestead Inn in Blowing Rock. NC. Location was great as we were able to walk to everything on Main street. Cottage style room was wonderful with comfortable bed and sheets. Had everything we needed, i.e. microwave, refrigerator, & coffee maker. Hope to return next year!

Beautiful, cozy, immaculate and spa like room! Walking in, we could feel ourselves relaxing immediately. The bed was heavenly, and there were multiple ways to control the heat and air to get the perfect temperature, including a gas fireplace. Inside and outside the whole place, even tje office, felt like we were literally in a Hallmark movie. We were very impressed with and thankful for the innkeepers in every way. It felt like we were being welcomed by family. They were very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend this sweet little lodge to anybody wanting a peaceful getaway that also is very close (walkable) to Blowing Rock's main street with all the shopping. You'll be so glad you stayed here!

I had a great time staying at the Homestead inn.. I felt very warmly welcomed by Caroline her son and her husband.. my room was excellent with a fireplace a jacuzzi tub and a nice big flat screen TV. The whole atmosphere is very inviting,comfortable ,a great place to retreat. I got a craving for sweets at night and lo and behold Kilwins Ice Cream and fudge is literally a 2 minute walk away!!..the Inn has a great location right off Main Street and very close to the newly reopened section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.. These are very very nice people, and they know how to run an inn. I strongly recommend the Homestead Inn and Cottages I will be back!

Great location in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock. Love the simple old school approach. Grounds and rooms are well kept. Feels safe. Boxsprings were a little shot but not too bad. Would be nice to have a more convenient spot to take pets out. Very friendly staff.
