This is the main place for foreigners to stay in Bo, but the facilities are pretty basic and the cost is high for what you get. Very noisy at night, especially when they are showing football on TV in the open air restaurant. Breakfast has no fruit or other healthy options. There is a pool but it is always either being emptied or filled and I didn't see anybody able to use it (although I understand they do on weekends).

Had to change the room due to the fact that the hotel allows smoking in the room. No room service all through my stay. Food choices are extremely limited. During during breakfast eggs or pine apple are not enough for the guests. The dinner was very spicy and they did not alert me on the spicy status while ordering.

I sponcer 4 children in Sierra Leone & this is a wonderful place to take your kids. Very family friendly with a pool and good food. Clean & well kept😊My sponcer son just celebrated his 7th birthday here & they had such a fun time 🥳 Staff is very kind - Thank you so much for making his day special for him!

Back again! Been a couple of years (due to Covid restrictions) used the hotel for accommodation and conference. Everything was as expected except one big disappointment! The hotel for whatever reason now has no beer alcohol on sale! A veey strange move but you can bring it in! Lost sales! And I do like to relax with a cold beer after a days work. Facilities ok, could do with a but of uplift but been hard couple of years for hotels. Still plan to return again in a few months time, so that must be a clear message it works! My 3rd visit and will return

My first time in Bo and chose to stay at Dohas. Its a great place and you get good value. The staff are courteous and the environment quite relaxed. I enjoyed and would stay again next time I am in Bo.

If you have ever stayed in Hotels in the regions of Sierra Leone, you have to manage your expectations. I have stayed here many times over the years; largely because the staff are lovely, helpful and will bend over backwards to see that you are content. However, if booking your stay, first check to see if there are any events happening in the Mandela Hall, a conference facility above the main reception. From 2100 hrs until 0300 hrs this morning, guests here were subjected to a man shouting at the top of his voice into a microphone. Why such a venue needs a) a microphone or b) a 1000w amp set to volume 11 is beyond me. At around 2am, I went to find a night manager to see if they could encourage our Master of Ceremonies to turn the volume down. There was no-one there! Went to reception this morning and was told that a lot of guests were unhappy. No s**t?!! So if you are booking in here and want to actually sleep - check to see if there any planned events first! If I sound angry - it is because I am.
