Great place, looks nice, super friendly staff. Mattresses were very comfortable, breakfast is delicious and there are multiple options. You can hear planes fly overhead but it didn't bother me too much.

This is the place for anyone that loves good food, comfy accomadations, lovely gardens and to be surrounded by art. We stayed here with a large group of family members, including a young toddler. The owners and staff are so friendly and accomadating. You can also just come for a meal but I would make a reservation. The food is world class with all fresh ingredients and made to order meals. It is a place to enjoy a long, peaceful meal, nothing frozen or prepared ahead of time. Order the yummy cocktails and appetizers to make your time more enjoyable. The passionfruit, watermelon gin and tonic was the best cocktail I ever had. We also loved our meals and the desserts, everyone in our large group thrilled with their choice, all saying theirs was quite yummy. We found the prices to be extremely reasonable for the high quality service, ingredients and deliciousness. The rooms are all differen and quite unique, filled with original art and also windows that have views of their natural gardens. The oversized, king beds are so comfortable, we had our best night's sleep here. The pitter patter of rain drops on the opaque bathroom roof lulled us to sleep. I also enjoyed the natural lighting of the modern bathroom which is supplied with local products. The price is very good for the quality you reciever here, with the friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. The hotel is high above the city which allows for some beautiful views as you go up. It was quiet and peaceful. There is free parking within the walled and gated hotel compound. The owner speaks English so it was easy to communicate with him about the booking and also the meals. The staff was so friendly, paying sweet attention to the toddler who loved it. Our whole group expressed delight with this hotel and restaurant. Our breakfast was again delicous, with fresh fruits and yoghurt and meals made to order. Also, of course, was the delicious Columbian coffee we've truly enjoyed and are now addicted to. Yum! We all thought this place would make a great site for a destination wedding or family gathering. And to top it all off fresh roses abound, with vases in every room and all over the hotel. Its sensory delight to be here. We will definitely be back. This is indeed a special place.

La Colina Hotel Cottage is truly a hidden gem. Definitely a boutique experience, like a home away from home and you are welcomed as a temporary member of the family. Great staff, great cuisine -- both dinner and exceptional breakfast. If you like a place with character, a casual feel, and warm hospitality, this is a no-brainer. My first stay but not my last.

I enjoyed a fabulous 10 days at La Colina and have no regrets! Federico made sure that everything was taken care of and simple. The bed is comfy and the hospitality is absolutely wonderful! Rosanna and Nairobi were the most amazing team and made the start of every day absolute perfection - so kind, helpful, and great cooks! I had a new adventure almost every day including a coffee tour and an in room massage. I traveled as a solo woman, and was a bit nervous at first, but it was so easy!! The only thing to keep in mind is that traffic in Bogota is no joke! It makes LA traffic seem like a breeze. It takes quite a while to get to and from some of the tourist areas and attractions so just prepare yourself. I would return by Uber every afternoon and Carmen and Thamara would greet me to see if I needed anything to eat or drink. The restaurant is lovely and the atmosphere is fabulous. Book it!

The service was great and the staff was friendly. You will not be disappointed. The food was wonderful. Frederico speaks fluent English and can help arrange your excursions and transportation. I highly recommend for anyone going to Bogata to see the many cultural sites the area has to offer.
