The place is fantastic, it is a small lodge for 10 guests, so it is very private and with all the attention and care from the team at Tambuti makes a remarkable experience. Marcia, Gladys, Edith and Sean are amazing. The suites are everything the website shows and much more!

Wonderful stay during christmas days with family. 5 stars all the way round. Second visit at Tambuti. Lodge (Quality, Firniture, Host), Food (Kitchen and Staff), Game Drives (Martin) just great. Love the little things. Christmas hut ' s, lights to welcome guests after drives, warm or cold facecloth to wash hands and face after game drives, fire place, Attention to detail at diffrent places in the rooms and property. 100% reccomandation.Sure will be back asap. Douglas and all of the staff are the ultimate hosts. Friendly and helpful always greeting with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Chef Edith and Chef BK ensured an outstanding fine dining experience. Absolutely recommend. Will return!

A stunning safari at a great lodge. The staff especially Marcia, Martin, Edith made our stay a very very memorable one. The food and service were 5 star. The game drives led by Martin were exceptional. His skill and knowledge as well as his professionalism were superb. Would highly recommend this safari experience.

The friendliness and service of the staff was excellent. Marcia was a marvellous host from when she and some of the staff met us on arrival and really appreciated the way she met us with refreshing towels when we returned from each game drive. Our room was very spacious and airy and I liked the outdoor shower very much. The chefs produced delicious meals. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and having the pool to cool off in were great. Martin was an excellent and incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. And due to his efforts I saw all of the Big 5 in just 3 days. Thank you to them all for a 5 star experience.

Nestled in the heart of the Black Rhino Reserve within the greater Pilanesberg National Park, the lodge struck the perfect balance between luxury and intimacy. The facilities were absolutely outstanding—spacious, beautifully appointed suites with private decks, luxurious outdoor baths, and every comfort you could imagine. The setting was serene and peaceful, offering a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. But what truly set Tambuti apart was the incredible warmth and professionalism of the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. From the attentive housekeeping to the warm smiles at meal times, we felt like honored guests rather than just visitors. A special mention must go to Martin, our ranger and guide, whose passion and knowledge of the bush made every game drive unforgettable. His tracking skills were incredible, and he took time to explain animal behavior, conservation efforts, and the ecology of the area in a way that was both engaging and deeply informative. His calm, friendly demeanor made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the drives, and thanks to him, we had some truly magical sightings—including a close-up encounter with a rhino that we’ll never forget. Tambuti Safari Lodge is a place we will remember forever. If you’re looking for an authentic, luxurious, and welcoming safari experience, this is it. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of our return.
