From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this guesthouse is in a league of its own. With only two spacious, luxuriously decorated rooms, every detail reflects a true 5-star experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens, inviting pool, and thoughtfully designed outdoor seating areas create an atmosphere of pure relaxation. Christof and Christoph are the epitome of exceptional hosts, ensuring that every aspect of the stay – from the warm welcome to the final farewell – is seamless and memorable. Their commitment to service excellence is evident in every detail. A special mention to Alison, who personally called the day before my arrival to confirm my booking and inquire about my meal preferences. On arrival, she greeted me with a refreshing cold towel, followed closely by the owners, who personally welcomed me with warmth and hospitality. The entire team – Alison, Innocent, and Ezra – delivered outstanding service, consistently going above and beyond. They didn’t just meet my expectations; they exceeded every single one of the Ten Dimensions of Service Excellence. Highly recommended! WELL DONE!

A quiet, spacious, well-laid out and appointed room with a large, comfortable bed and a 'stoep' facing the thriving garden. Heated pool, and the bathroom with a walk-in shower is a fantastic experience. Attentive, friendly, informative staff and a magnificent spread for breakfast, including a delicious omelette - thank you, Innocent.

Love the guest house, firstly- IT IS TOO STUNNING- there is a lot of thought that went into the design, there were lot of thoughtful ideas- example peanuts basket, I love the mini speaker in the room for us who are not TV fans The food was delicious and fresh a lot of options for breakfast will definitely go back in my personal capacity as well Had to switch off the fridge though, it made some noises

I booked two rooms, one specifically for an elderly person with mobility needs. Christoph and his team at Christofphs were exceptionally kind and attentive, exceeding my expectations in hospitality and detail. The location was easy to find and well situated. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

We found Christofph Guest House in Bonnievale from an internet search as we had committed ourselves to the Weltevrede (wine estate) parkrun (also highly recommended!). Our hosts Christof, Christoph, Allison, and Innocent, took excellent discrete care of us, including laying on dinner and local wine. The fynbos garden is flourishing, and the big pool is very welcome in the 40C dry heat. En suite room is wonderful, including large fridge, kettle, aircon, and filter coffee maker. Bonnievale itself is a beautiful environment surrounded by rugged mountains. Approach roads are fine. We'd go back any day!
