Holiday Inn Express & Suites Richwood - Cincinnati South recensioner

Very nice and clean hotel

The toilet had black dirt that I couldn't wipe off. The hotel bed had long black hairs in it, leading me to think that they didn't wash the sheets after the last guest. I was surprised to see the bedside Bible, and liked that. The staff were very friendly. For that reason, I gave a three star rating.

We like staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels. This hotel is conveniently located near the Interstate. You won't be traveling through town to find it. The hotel is clean. The rooms are comfy and the staff polite. They have the amenities to suit any traveler.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Room service was top notch. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot items. Well, I was actually done with this review but the input requires 200 characters. So blah, blah, blah, yada yada yard. (this is ridiculous.)

I understand this hotel in the process of remodeling. We came in through door #3 to find half the tiles on the floor pulled up with new tiles propped against the wall. one elevator had a trash can propped in the door to hold it open. The room was clean However, the air conditioning barely works, shower was barely working, just HOT water in the faucets, the lamps plug ins did not work and there were only two outlets to plug in phones in the room aside from the bathroom plug in. I will say though that the lobby and breakfast areas were beautiful.

We were very impressed with our stay here. The hotel was on brand as we have stayed at HI Express for years and this one did not miss the mark for IHG quality. Not sure how long the hotel has been here, but it seemed very new. The room was very clean and comfortable. Love the new showers that have very high ceilings, good lighting, and great shower heads. Love the new Dove pumps for shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/body lotion! The room also has a microwave and fridge. Great location and easy to access right off of 71-75. Breakfast had a nice variety of options. Love the cinnamon rolls! Plenty of comfortable seating to eat. Only fast food options nearby and then the new restaurant next door opened the day we were there. Cattleman's Roadhouse - very good - check it out!

This hotel was a godsend when our car broke down and we had to find a last minute place to stay. Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms despite being pretty full and wonderful hot shower with great water pressure. Great free breakfast with plenty of food. Thank you!

We spent a night at this hotel when we visited The Ark Adventure; my only complaint is the soleplate of the iron was gunky! Otherwise, our room was clean; the bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly. Excellent biscuits on the breakfast buffet. Safe environment, and polite staff. Well done.

Room is nice and comfortable. The tub should be resurfaced, get rid of the tub mat that is hiding rust. The continental breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. We stayed on the main floor and the second night the room above us was occupied by undisciplined kid(s). Terribly noisy in the evening and again early in the morning. Traffic is terrible,Road Construction in this area is a NIGHTMARE! NOISY, close, to the interstate. I wouldn't stay here, again, because of the noise.

This was a decent hotel, modern room, comfy bed. But the hotel needs to do something about the bathtub in this room. The tub was all rusted and they had covered it up with one of those rubber bath mats so we didn't have to stand on the rust. This isn't really an acceptable solution. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, pancake machine, cereals (all sugar coated) Good location for the Ark Encounter and not too far from the Creation Museum if you are headed to one of those and you can't afford the other options. I might stay here again, but I would look at the room a bit more carefully for problems.

Step 2 of the family tour of the US was staying here for just under a week, visiting relatives nearby. The two teenagers shared a room, while the missus and I had the toddler with us. For some reason I really like US highway-based hotel/motels - I just find them quite charming in being built to do a specific job. This one was no exception - in fact, it was quite a lovely place to say. Rooms were spacious and clean; staff were friendly and helpful; and the (small) swimming pool was an unexpected treat. All of course at very reasonable prices: I would definitely stay here again. Why not 5 stars? Well, while cheap and cheerful is the name of the game, the air conditioning was pretty loud compared to some of the places we stayed. Didn't make getting decent sleep (with toddler) any easier.
