Los Establos Boutique Resort - All Inclusive

Los Establos Boutique Inn exceeded all expectations! The grounds were absolutely spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything is spotlessly clean the rooms are beautiful and the food is outstanding. However, where this resort really shines is the staff. The staff goes above and beyond, they are friendly and courteous. By the time you leave you feel like they are family! Our group of four had a spectacular time!The town of Boquete is also a fun and welcoming experience. We enjoyed the included adventures (6 in all) my favorite was the waterfall! We were also lucky enough to meet such a wonderful group of people staying at the resort as well. So much fun at happy hour. The resort is small and intimate which makes it easy to get to know the other guests if you choose, of course. We had the time of our life, if you know, you know, lol . I would highly recommend this resort and Panama in general.

Los Establos was the most surreal resort experience I’ve ever had. I went here with my wife and two friends and we had a life changing stay. First and foremost, the staff were impeccable; they went out of their way to accommodate us and were always pleasant and helpful. The chefs here are five star - the food was fresh and the presentation amazing. I’m a vegetarian and each specially made vegetarian dish was better than the next. This is not the kind of all inclusive resort meant for hanging by the pool drinking or in the spa all day, although you theoretically could—this is an adventure experience meant to get you out to see the local sights. Each day you get an included tour to use and if you want you can do multiple tours in a day—we did five of the six included tours we had and two of the extra ones, including the hike up and down Volcán Baru and the Boca Chicas Island tour (these don’t count toward your six included tours but cost extra). We also happened to meet wonderful people there who made the happy hours (with the best drinks I’ve had) a blast but otherwise our time was spent exploring. The weather at Los Establos is unpredictable but in March it ranged from chilly and windy in the mornings and evenings to hot in the sun during the day with an occasional shower - however, just down the hill from the resort in the town of Boquete the weather was usually warmer and sunny. It’s a microclimate up there, but most of the excursions are at lower altitudes where it’s usually warm/ hot and sunny. Boquete and Los Establos are truly hidden gems and I’m sad our visit is over - I promise you won’t be disappointed if you make it your next trip though!!

Gorgeous location, gardens, comfy rooms and beds, friendly helpful staff, stellar daytime excursions, Panamanian meals (especially soups), wine choices very good. Minor recommendations: bigger pool, Italian dinner and all desserts mediocre at best, would like to see offered daily: fresh local fruit, batidas and fresh squeezed juice. Have better descriptions of excursions- for example, Volcan Baru trip is via Jeep, in early AM to see the sunrise. Not to be missed.

Los establos is located on a hill overlooking stunning Baru volcano, with amazing chef food, kind and smoky staff, beauty spacious and clean rooms and access to so many exciting outdoor activities. We had a perfect memorable week here. Thank you Los Establos

Los Establos was a lovely resort and the team, especially in the food & beverage department was fantastic. They took the time to get to know us and make our stay fantastic. If this was a normal stay it would be 5/5 stars. But it's not a normal stay. This was a "free trip" that we paid thousands of dollars for at a charity auction. We were shocked when we learned that in addition to the thousands we spent on the voucher, we still owed $3,000 in "all-inclusive surcharges" on our room for a week. The food was great. The service was great. The facilities were great. That being said, nothing about this place worth the ~$5,000 we paid for it and the value of the trip was closer to 2/5 stars. These certificates are an absolute scam. That being said, if you book straight through the hotel with transparent pricing, it's worth the cost and we highly recommend it.

This was our second visit to Los Establos and it again exceeded our expectations. They have added a new building, a pickleball court, and expanded their excursions. The food was excellent for all of our meals and the staff were wonderful, treating us like family. If we needed anything, you merely had to ask. We brought another couple with us on this trip and they were equally impressed.
