Boracay Summer Palace

We regret not finding this place ahead of time. One of the best and affordable hotels we’ve been to in Boracay. 💕

Very attentive staffs.

The place was nice for its price, staff was very accommodating. Only issue is the location, kinda sketchy walkway towards the beach (around a 3 min walk I would say, and the bedroom smells off especially the headboard 😅 other than that would recommend.

Cozy and Quite. The room is great and complete silence during relax time.

The furniture is quite an old style. First they tried to give me a room with mouldy walls, then gave the next door one. That part of the hotel has a closed passage to the beach which is okeyish, anyway much better than the one from the central entrance. However. Right near that nicer passage there's their power generator. Which works like it's going to take off to the moon. That much loud. Not every time, just when the power is off at the island or it's part. Including in the night. Even if the power off just for 40 minutes. They still switch on the generator!!! No matter it's it's 1:30am! Can't sleep at all. So no matter they have a nice swimming pool, very Instagrammable hotel view, 2 minutes walk to white beach and 5 minutes to D-mall. How to sleep when it's that's loud? I got sick after that and had to skip some events, and moved to another hotel. Will never come back, even if maybe the rooms which are not near the generator are ok. Actually, there are quite a number of the hotels which have similar problem with generators low frequency noise. I went to several to check and finally chose the one which doesn't have this problem, with a very big territory, so their generator is afar.

It was good staying with you

The hotel’s location is quite convenient, as it is located in the station two area. Everything around stations 1-3 in Borocay is walking distance from the hotel. The members of staff is relatively hospitable. As it relates to the facilities of the room, you can tell that the hotel is old.There was rust on several of the facilities. The bed linens also had stains and one of our towels had a hole in it. The room was also very small, but the shower was big. On the day of our checkout, we decided to extend our stay for one night and they gave us another room. That room was atrocious, as it had an unbearable musty scent. We reported the issue and they sprayed it with downy. That did not even help, so we had to contact a representative from trip and that’s wh n they decided to change the room. After the room change, we felt like the hotel representative was being petty and unprofessional. They came to the new room and asked us back for the water because we drank the one from the previous room. It’s just water, they could’ve asked us to pay for it or just give it to us considering the hassle and inconvenience that they caused us with the issues that we had with the musty room. For the price of the hotel, the rooms should be better. I would not recommend staying here
