Great hotel at Bordeaux. Like the decorations of the rooms and public areas. Would book again next time. Front reception services are good.

very good and I'm very satisfied with all the decorations and service is very friendly!
At 10 PM, my wife was taking a shower when the hot water suddenly stopped. There was no hot water at all. I tried to call the front desk using the only phone in the room, but it was completely dead because it wasn’t charging properly. To make things worse, there were no instructions anywhere on how to use the phone or which number to call. I had to keep guessing, while the phone was about to die. This is just unacceptable. Also, the shower had cheap curtains that didn’t keep the water in. The bathroom floor got soaked and slippery, which is dangerous. When I finally reached the front desk, they told me in a very casual way that they have no idea why there was no hot water, the whole hotel had no hot water and it would take a few hours to fix. No warning, no apology, just a cold response. I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels around the world, and I have never experienced something like this. Not having hot water is a basic failure in service. This whole situation was awful and it completely ruined our stay.

Highly recommend this hotel to Bordeaux visitors. It’s clean, close enough to walk to restaurants and sites of interest, and the staff is extremely helpful and cheerful. The hotel entrance is beautiful, particularly the staircase. Comfortable seating areas throughout the main floor. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We travel *a lot* and rarely give 5 stars... We stayed here for a week. The rooms were really well appointed, clean, modern and elegant. The breakfast service is nice and recommended. Staff is attentive and was always there. Overall very good experience. highly recommend

Fabulous hotel! Extremely clean. The staff are extremely helpful specially the Manager Emily, she’s professional, warm and very approachable. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was very tasty. Felt welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely think it’s the best hotel in Bordeaux! Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure xx

I loved this hotel! First of all, all of the staff were such gracious hosts. The hotel is in a great location just outside the busy center of town so that you are still in walking distance to town but enjoy a slightly quieter location. We walked to all of the restaurants and to the waterfront. The rooms are very clean and ours, a deluxe, was very spacious. It was nice to be able to hang out comfortably in our room even though most of the time we were out seeing the area. There are so many shelves and surfaces to set your things on and a closet, which is unusual for a lot of hotels and which really made our stay more pleasant. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The hotel provides a great breakfast and although I did not eat in the more formal restaurant, we enjoyed stopping into the bar/dining area for snacks, cocktails, and a light dinner while we were there. The decor in the rooms is a bit more contemporary than I typically like but I really loved my experience at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Great job!

We were on a family trip to celebrate our daughter's 21st Birthday and had booked 6 rooms at the Hotel Burdigala. Great hotel. Great location. easy trip in on tram from the airport and 10 minute walk to all the action in Bordeaux. Hotel was lovely, extremely clean and rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

It was our third stay at this hotel and everything was as good as it was during our first visit. Nice room, delicious breakfast and good location. Consierge service was also very helpful and made our stay in Bordeaux even more pleasant.
