Hotel Montenegro

Well just got back from this hotel So many problems where do I start lovely hotel lovel rooms foods exceptable they advertise this hotel with entertainment and out of the 14 nights I was there we had 1 artist they advertised a 80 night and all that was a cd karaoke but that was here’s the Mike sing if you like but they have a bar attached to the hotel that is there’s they put entertainment on in there every night but all inclusive customers can’t use it The day time entertainment is very poor I took all this up with my rep she tried very hard they said they would make sure there was entertainment but they done nothing I was told twice that the manager would ring me but he never did Nothing for the children to do either and they don’t cater for the children in the restaurant either you can’t even get a lemonade on all inclusive customers So by and large I don’t rate this hotel they have a lot to learn on all inclusive They have these young ladies dressed in blue dresses I think they were departmental managers there rude and very ignorant Stefan in the restaurant he was fabulous so friendly and helpful also Lydia in the star bar she was lovely x They should look at how they treat customers

Nice bed, beautiful view, very clean. The room is probably a bit small, not every room should have a couch. The shower room opening is large, inevitably the whole room gets wet when used. Good food, nice spa, beautiful beach, comfortable beach chairs and towels.

Just back. When we arrived we had a mixed opinion. Great first impressions. We went for dinner, in the dining hall, canteen feels. The food was just warm, this was because we were near the end of service (about an hour). Next time we went it was hot but that was at the beginning of service. It's the first time on an all inclusive that Ive ate out a few times. There is a bar downstairs, no atmosphere, geels like being in a cellarl. There is a snooker table, which has pool balls, no chalk for the cues. No rest for the cues, the table is that big, not a great way to play pool. The service from the bar staff, especially the lady was awful. Didn't smile. Gin and flat tonic (far too much gin, not everyone is an alcoholic). Cocktails were awful, especially on the all inclusive. It was very two teir, if you were paying as you went, the customer got a better service. The rooms were clean, the cleaning staff work very hard. The shower in the bathroom has a high step in and out, if you are on the larger side you mat struggle to get in. The corner shower feels very small but the pressure of the shower is good. There us no room to bend down. There was a lovely waiter in the dining room, very polite. We asked for an iron and ironing board, only to be told very bluntly, no , laundry service only, you pay. The beach is shingle, wear water shoes, plenty of sun longers and shades. As with around the pool. I love Montenegro, been a few times but this is the first time in an all inclusive that it's felt like a let down. We are not all beer drinking yobs.

Check in... Easy enough. Pleasant staff and as I needed assistance with my bags (I use a walking stick) they organised a porter to take my bags to my room. He was very nice but he refused a tip. I noticed tipping was not readily expected. In the room I had, there was a free safe, plenty of wardrobe space and sufficient power sockets throughout. Toiletries are provided in the bathroom. The bathroom had a walk in shower and hairdryer. There's a TV in the bedroom which had channels for all guests, including BBC and Sky news and a couple of English language movie and documentary channels. Food .... Ok... Hits and misses. There was something for everyone but I did find for myself, vegan options were limited. However, I didn't go hungry. If you are a meat and fish lover, you will certainly enjoy the offerings. Bar... The service was ok. It did feel at times that the staff, who were all lovely and willing to do their best to serve were a little overwhelmed when it was busy. I was there in low season. I think this would've been frustrating in high season. The hotel was spotless in all areas. The pool area was very quiet as I was there in low season. Not all the bars were open around the pool and there was no scheduled evening entertainment. That was fine for me. There is an outdoor stage and seating area so in high season this would be nice to sit out and watch. There are plenty of sunbeds. One thing I didn't like was people smoking by pool. I found it unpleasant. There are enough bar and seating areas around the grounds to go smoke. However this was just a minor annoyance. There is also a beauty salon offering massages, beauty treatments and hair styling. I had 2 massages, one relaxing one medicinal, a pedicure, manicure and a hair cut. All were great, reasonable price and the therapists were lovely. For the stay there is a $1.50 a day tourist tax payable on check out. I was staying there Half board. It suited me. Anything extra was charged to my room and I paid the bill on check out. I enjoyed my stay here as a female solo traveller. I felt safe at all times. Hotel WIFI was really good too. MONTENEGRO was lovely and this hotel was perfect for me. Good location to Budva old town too. Leaving the hotel from reception, walk up the hill, at the top of the road turn left. Walk a couple of minutes until you see a tunnel with small sign. BUDVA OLD TOWN. Just walk through the tunnel, underpass, and you will see the old town when you come out the other end. It's a 2 mile walk. All flat with plenty of seats along the way. I managed this with my walking stick. It's flat enough for wheelchair users too. If you leave the hotel by the back pool area through the hotel beach bar and turn left you can walk along another flat promenade where you will find small beach areas bars and restaurants. I would definitely return.

Great Hotel and services, everything was clean, the treatment was very professional, we felt very safe, comfort, welcomed, and it was a very good experience. anyone willing to visit this place strongly recommend! When travel again, I will definitely choose this place!

We had a fantastic week at the hotel, staying on an all inclusive package. The hotel has a great location - right next to the beach but kept private by trees and hedges. The whole site is kept very clean and tidy, even outdoor areas were regularly washed down. We really enjoyed the food. There was a good selection of meats, fish, salads, vegetables and fruit so we felt we could still eat healthily. We enjoyed trying the local dishes but there was always pizza and pasta available for people who like something familiar. My husband has allergies but everything was clearly labelled and because the food is freshly made the staff could answer any questions about it. Coffee was from a machine but tasted good to me. My husband is more fussy about coffee so he would pay for one from the cash bar next to the restaurant for a couple of euros. The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff. Warm and friendly but always professional. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you for a great holiday!
