Iberostar Waves Bellevue

We had room 1505 and it was wonderful. The staff were amazing from cleaners, waiting staff to reception. Out room was very comfortable and the furniture was too. The view from our balcony over looked the beach and sea. We both enjoyed every meal, choice was fabulous. The gardens and pools are well kept. There is an indoor heated pool too. Wide choice of drinks available.

Hotel is beautiful ! Grounds are so clean and staff work so hard to keep everywhere spotless . We had a priority location room which had a lovely view and a massive terrace so would recommend paying extra to stay in this part of the hotel for the view although the rooms are pretty basic but that did not affect our stay they were cleaned daily also . Food was good but breakfast was our fav so much on offer . All inclusive - we never went hungry and there were lots of options even for the pickiest of eaters . Was lovely to be able to sit outside on the terrace and eat our meals and look at the view . The drinks were great ! Entertainment was ok we didn’t really get involved during the day so can’t comment on what was on offer but the singers we watched in the evening were good .

We stayed at this hotel in the 3rd week in October. We were very pleasantly surprised to find there was a mini disco and other entertainment on during our stay as the Jet2 information made this sound like this would all be shut by the time we arrived. The mini disco is very heavy with iberostar songs so if you’re used to mini discos you won’t get most of the usuals which is a same; but our daughter ended up really enjoying it all the same. The outdoor pools were cold but we swam in them 3 out of the 7 days and spent a lot of time in the indoor pool. I will add that I am 5ft5 and I could not stand in the inside pool which was a bit odd! But the jacuzzi was nice and we were able to take our kids in it too. The gym was excellent with a great variety of weights and equipment, and an incredible view. The food was average to good, easy to find tasty food every night, as others have mentioned it would have been nice to have had more themed night or a different type of restaurant to try so it’s not quite so samey, but with the pizzeria it was pretty impossible to go hungry as there was basically always somewhere to go for food. Our room was comfortable and fit us in well with 2 adults a child and a toddler, cleaned well each day and I wouldn’t have called it particularly dated as I saw in other reviews. Generally the staff were all friendly, everyone was really lovely to our kids especially the sweeping staff in the restaurants even after having to sweep up after my son multiple times a meal! It was half term half way through our holiday and it did get a lot busier but we were still able to get loungers and tables etc. I didn’t catch her name but one of the receptionists called our car rental company for us multiple times and was incredibly helpful to us. The views were absolutely incredible and over all was a very lovely hotel to stay in. I have already mentioned to family and friends they should come and stay in this hotel.

The hotel is excellent. We recommend it to everyone. The reception is friendly, professional and helpful, especially the gentlemen from the night shift. We will come again to enjoy this wonderful place.We want to return to this wonderful hotel again next year.  

I really wouldn’t bother if you have children. I went with grandkids 13&8. Nothing to keep them entertained . Refuse to give you milk for drinks. Asked not to jump into pools. Beautiful scenery but let down by hotel and rude staff . Come here if you are a couple or just adults in general , not recommended with children

A 4 star holiday hotel that is worthy of its rating. But just a few points that would improve the experience. Moans; 1) There is no kettle in the room. This is annoying. If this is important to you then I suggest you take a travel kettle. 2) The balcony furniture was truly awful. I’ve attached a photo and there is no need for any further comment. Once or twice the internal room furniture was dragged out to get comfortable whilst sitting outside. 3) The food was bland but plentiful. 4) The room was a tad small by modern standards but is probably a reflection of the hotel’s age. 5) I thought the beach facilities were not the best but I don’t think this is run directly by the hotel. Moans over, the staff, grounds, pool areas and associated bars, room servicing were all good. Really liked the pizzeria for a midday snack. We went with Jet2 (excellent as usual). The two day trips we went on; Lake Skada; verging on a rip-off for the value delivered to the customer. Montenegro Blue; absolutely brilliant, probably the best one day trip we’ve ever been on. If I were to return to this area would I stay here again….that’s definitely a yes!
