Hótel Bifröst

took us a long time to find the entrance to the hotel, in heavy rain. There isn't a formal entrance. Only a side door facing a courtyard. Its origin as a university dormitory explains the unique set up. We didn't know at the time.

一切否非常滿意，預訂時衹想在這裏留宿一晚，抵達後大大超出預期。這是在冰島10天裏面房間最大最好的一家酒店。

房間寬敞，乾淨衞生，床墊舒適。位置好找，早餐豐富，服務人員熱情。唯一不足之處，有爐頭冰箱，但沒有炊具餐具。

中規中矩，沒有什麼不滿意，但也無驚喜。早餐食物很豐盛，有熱的食物。服務很好。遠離城市，在一號公路旁邊，很容易找到。

This hotel was voted as the group favorite for lodging during our trip around the Ring Road. It has a really cool lobby where we had a night cap and the best hotel breakfast we had! It is definitely worth checking out if it's on your travel route.

Nice, spacious and comfortable (but basic) room. Hotel is located in the middle of an old lava field, and area is very picturesque. It is walking distance to the one of volcano craters. Hotel offers a very nice brekfast which is includeed in price, as well as a huge parking place.

The Hotel and the room was very nice. We arrived on Friday, after driving straight from work, to the Hotel at quarter to 6 pm. In our reservation we had a gift certificate for a 3 course meal. The reception said we had to hurry because dinner should start at 6pm. We asked if we could come a little later or maybe between 6.30 or 7 but the receptionist said NO, because then we would get our meal much later. We hurried up to our room and got dressed and went down to the restaurant. The restaurant was empty, we were the only ones there. We sat down and our starter came out within two minutes. When we hadn´t finished the waiter asked if we were done and we said wait a minute and tried to finish as quick as possible. When the waiter saw we had finished the starter she came and took our dishes and handed out the main course(straight away). It felt like they were trying to get o-us out of there as soon as possible. We took our time with the main course, it was obvious that our dinner had been made somewhere else or just earlier that day because it was just heated up for us and not cooked when ordered. When we got our dessert, at about 6:40, other hotel guests started arriving. Then we saw that they also had the same gift certificate and exactly the same meals. We found it strange why we had to hurry up to come down at 6pm and not everybody else. Sorry this service was not a good experience and the dinner just flat. This could have easily been a great experience if the service had been up to par with the room and look of the Hotel itself.

Visiting the Bifrost area, we chose this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel, with a spacious room, a large bathroom, a very affordable price in winter and a perfect welcome. Simple but complete breakfast included in the price. Only the price of the restaurant menu is too expensive and you don't have much choice. I recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel was quite unusual and the entrance quite hidden and tucked away. Its in close proximity and surrounded by residential flats. Inside the vibe is distinctly modern and minimalist. Our room had a kitchenette, lots of cabinets and a nice bathroom with rain shower. So glad we decided to reserve a table for dinner at their restaurant. The dinner was delicious and breakfast buffet (included in our rate) was one of the best we’ve had on our Iceland tour. The breads were patisserie quality.
