Villa Sokol

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Our stay was fantastic, the room was super clean, the bed was huge and really comfortable, the shower was amazing and the food…. Unbelievable!! Very friendly and helpful staff that were willing to give local recommendations and help with that ever we needed! A slightly more peaceful location being further down the hill so perfect for couples and families, would highly recommend and definitely will return!!

With family and friends spent several amazing days in December in the villa. Nice, clean and stylish with great facilities and staff. Villa Sokol is in a quiet place, but only few minutes walk from the ski gondola and slopes.

I stayed here with my family for a short ski stay for February half term. The hotel was super clean, lovely and warm and the staff were lovely. Georgia and Mario especially, they made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, location good for town centre, slightly away from all the nightlife, which suited us as a family. We would definitely recommend,

We stayed for three nights and received a warm welcome on our arrival, which was quite late in the evening. Some food had been prepared for us which was a lovely touch. The hotel is stylish and warm and the staff are friendly. Our room was spacious and charming but severe lack of places to put your clothes apart from a very narrow wardrobe with a very high shelf. On our arrival we found we had to fix the curtains which were unhooked and so couldn’t be closed. Odd the staff hadn’t noticed. We also found a dirty tissue under a chair which had also been missed. The daily maid service wasn’t really noticeable! Although equipped with a smart tv we couldn’t access the functions that required it to connect to the internet. Not devastating but would have been nice to have. The bathrooms were very smart and pleasant - no bath but that’s fine for us. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style apart from a “King’s dinner” one evening where we had lamb shank cooked to perfection. There is a coffee station but unfortunately it wasn’t replenished regularly meaning not always equipped with the pods or the right sized cups. Just a small niggle. We stayed on the second floor. We were told there was ski storage on basement level but when we went to look the whole area reeked of cigarettes and was not easy to access so we hired heated boot and ski lockers up in the centre for a very reasonable price instead. Although the hotel is supposed to have a ski shuttle we didn’t see it and weren’t told about it but it’s only a 10 minute walk to the centre.
