Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bossier City

I stay In lots of hotels out here for work and this one has been the absolute worst. They do not clean often nor well , I found someone’s left over trash in the closet of the room. You are lucky if they even stop by your room every 3/4 days to “clean” . The older woman that cooks breakfast is always quite rude and gives dirty looks. The appliances are hit or miss if they work .Your key does not open any other doors aside from your room. So you are only able to enter through the front door . The only nice thing I have found about this hotel is the pool . They need to hire better staff that will actually do their job. The hotel has lots of potential such a shame to see it as it stands.

My bathroom was half cleaned, - bathroom needs to be updated The key cards dont work in any other door but the front door - which has limited parking so you have to walk all the way around There are no snack options at all besides popcorn and a soda machine Furniture looks very outated and old, and there was a smell about the hotel - The service desk and food was great which is the only positive thing.

Love this hotel…Super clean and the beds are comfortable. Great Breakfast and location…This was our 2nd time at this Hotel and will be returning when I come to see my baby brother again…My Baby Brother is the one who told me about this hotel..and I’m happy he did…

The room was clean and spotless. The breakfast was hot and tasty! The parking was safe and plentiful. The checkin and checkout was quick and professional. I will definitely return. I definitely recommend staying here when in the Bossier area.

This is one of the worst holiday inns express my husband and I have ever stayed at.. First I reserved a room on the top floor and they put us downstairs in a handicapped room and the shower floor was slimy and gross. The bed was beyond old and super uncomfortable...I mean I understand it’s a handicapped room,But they don’t deserve a comfortable bed as well? I spent good money on this room and I understood it’s not home, But it should be close to as comfortable as possible... The room was dirty and dusty… The breakfast was just ok… The juice was horribly watered down.. No Coffee and it was only 8:20 am…. This hotel is near Louisiana Downs , So you would think it would be a better motel.. And the customer service there isn’t great… You stand in the lobby waiting for several minutes before anyone comes and checks on you… Will never go back….

I have stayed at the Bossier City Holiday Inn for years but will no longer choose this property. The manager and front desk clerk were unprofessional and treated a member of our team with disrespect and took advantage of him, which I can only attribute to their prejudice because English is not the first language of my colleague. Everyone has a choice and I am discouraging all my colleagues, clients, subcontractors, regulators and others coming to visit a nearby military installation to go across the street to the SpringHill Suites instead for a better and more respectful experience and for less money.

Overall, this has been a good experience… The rooms are large enough, and well appointed. They are not updated; they are definitely late 90s decor… But this is not a bad thing. The room I stayed in was clean, neat, and in relatively good repair. (There were a few small issues, like a lamp that would not work… But the staff did their best to take care of everything.) Be prepared for some unusual items… The shower head was WAYYYY off the floor and the cabinets have been treated with some “cleaner” that left them feeling sticky. (But a good wipe with a damp rag left them clean again… I’m sure that’s a Covid thing.) My only real complaint about the property is the lack of decent internet access… An arrival, the two upper floors Wi-Fi access points were not functional and none of the wall-jacks worked… (I called in a complaint to their tech-support. The staff had no clue what to do about it.) Even after they were working (two days later), the speeds were ASTOUNDINGLY slow. (Less than 5Mbps. I get 20Mbps on my cell phone) I lay equal blame on the management, the owners, and AT&T for this one… It’s obvious from the condition of the system that the owners are either unwilling to spend the money, or do not fully understand the impact this has on modern business travelers. (or both) I ended up using my hotspot the whole time. Hopefully they will update it the near future. Other than that it’s a decent property. Recommended.
