Olievenfontein Private Game Reserve

Lovely self catering cabins with a beautiful pool and lovely hosts. The kitchens are very well equipped and every one has teir own braai. Game drives are offered in the property. We even got to play with the baby tigers and lions they are nursing.

We arrived as a group of 12 this past weekend. The house that was an 8 sleeper was beautiful , with default to the toilets in each room being rusted inside the toilet bowl which is rather unhygienic. The pool was also dirty and had algae forcing us to take a swim in the smaller pool. As for the caretaker I would ask that He works on his approach when addressing people and not come off rude or arrogant. Otherwise we made the most of our time regardless of this.

This is the second time I've stayed at Olievenfontein, and both times I've enjoyed my stay. Relaxed and chilled, has everything you need to unwind. Friendly owners and staff are always ready to assist where needed

Everything was just perfect and the unit was well kitted out!! The kitchen equipment was well maintained and everything was operational and everything was thought about. Braai facilities were also well maintained. Excellent Value for money!

This was our second time at Olievenfontien and we can't wait to go back again. Johan and Jen were as always such great hosts opening their hearts and home to us. The staff where awesome too. I would recommend this place to any and every one to come and relax stress free. Come as guests leave as family.

We stayed in the Impala-unit, and was very happy with the choice. The unit is close to the watering hole (thus having the luxury of seeing blue-wildebeest, giraffes and redbuck up close). The kitchen is very well equipped, and the fridge was stocked with a pitcher of cold water. Please consider phone signal is limited, and during loadhsedding there is no signal - take this as an opportunity to unwind and leave work behind during your stay. We enjoyed the game drive, even though we did not see much game, the viewpoint was still impressive enough to make the trip. They have wood and charcoal available on-site (remember to bring cash). Don’t take the “keep your windows closed” warning lightly – the monkeys will enter your house given the opportunity. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, with enough on-site activities to either relax or keep busy. Would really recommend this place to friends and family. We booked through lekkeslaap.com.
