I was lead to believe that I’m paying over 4000€ a week for a premium apartment, like in 2019 and in 2020 (I’m a returning guest). However, I have gotten an apartment with one of the two bedrooms filled with bunk beds, connected one to another (4 beds next to one another, fully occupying the room and making it claustrophobic) resembling an army room. Another family has asked for a different room before our arrival (they have left shoes in the ski locker, so we exchanged experiences), so I guess - we got a downgrade. Not coming back to pay so much money for such an apartment. Also, the cleaners were not checking the terrace, and delivered only one soap for two bathrooms, never bringing the other one (I have my own, so I was observing if they would ever see a missing soap - didn’t happen in 7 days stay). The hotel didn’t have the slippers in the apartment (saying they didn’t get the delivery), but offers pool and spa experience without announcing that you should bring your own. They are charging 15€ per bath robe (that’s really a shame, just put it in a room charge), and some of them of a seriously low quality (some very good - so when you order 5 as in my case - you get a mix). So - go barefoot or in boots, covered in cheap bathrobe (but expensively rented), and then - freeze in the pool, as it is very poorly heated (as compared to previous years, and also compared to other hotels with pools and spa). I sensed a raising prices, missing basics, a lots of “we’re sorry” as a cover for not delivering on the promise, and a general deterioration of the experience vs. 2019 and 2020. Might be the Covid19 effect, but I can’t really pay more for lesser services and stay happy… On a positive note - the hotel has a perfect position, proper ski-in and ski-out, well out of the village, but connected by a servicing one stop gondola. It’s well built and cosy, and was our favorite destination. It’s a shame I have to give it such a rating now…
