Carrington House Hotel recensioner

In my opinion it is a hotel that I would not recommend to anyone. I had a one night stay. The only positive thing I have to say is that the bedding looked clean, and so did the bathroom in the room. But its appearance was very old and worn. The bedroom windows are dirty as well as the drawers. The walls have old and dirty wallpaper. When I entered the room, I smelled dust and dirt. The whole room is in need of renovation. The visual aspect is not good. The floor is also dirty, especially outside the room, in the corridors there is an old and dirty carpet. I didn't like the experience. I'm not writing just to speak badly but to make you aware. I stayed in room 32. I don't know if the rest is like that. But this was my experience. They must be considerate of customers and pay attention to all these aspects.

Lovely friendly hotel.Was originally given an upstairs room which would have meant some stairs.I have mobility problems but the receptionist found me a ground floor room straightaway.The only issue was with parking being a little limited.We were able to park but other guests had some difficulty.Will definately be using this hotel again and we are already planning our next trip.

Not luxurious in any way but we were looking for somewhere to stay overnight whilst visiting people. Everywhere was so expensive but then this came up as a special offer! Great value for money for what we needed and the plus was a very good buffet breakfast. :-)

Good value hotel with good sized rooms. Good breakfast. Needs more comfortable seating in bar & foyer.

Tthe hotel is generally ok, I recommend it. Nice place for children to play clean swimming pool big bar. Qquite nice location close to everywhere.

The place is quite close to the beach and the city centre. We enjoyed our stay in the property. Overall a nice experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed so comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be a le to have a bath

Room was in need of renovation, old furniture, tatty curtains, worn carpet. Bath with chipped enamel. No clean towels on second day, room not serviced. Generally poor once you left reception.

The greeting from the front desk at check-in was very warm and welcoming. The room was as expected clean and had everything needed.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. It's very clean, the food is great and the staff are helpful and very friendly. Great value for money.

Room was very hot without heating on mattress wasn’t the best only one pillow per person and the noise from other guests into early hours wasn’t good. The location and free parking as stated on website is not existent and the bathroom was tired. Cleanliness wasn’t great either with hairs on duvet and stained carpets. Couldn’t say a good nights rest and location to amenities also not great.
