Burn How Garden Hotel - Bowness on Windermere recensioner

The place of the hotel is quite near the lake,was than ten minutes walk. And the breakfast there is elegant. However, because of the facilities, it’s not up to a 4-star standard shown in google map. And more like a B&B.

Lovely hotel room was smaller than expected and also the bathroom but it had everything we needed and was lovely and clean the breakfast was lovely catered for my gluten intolerance and the staff were really lovely especially Olivia who served us drinks for both nights nothing was too much trouble for her would highly recommend and we will be back

Not 24 hrs front desk, and even need a slot to have breakfast... But very good place by the lake

My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation. Glyn Davies

It’s a nice cozy hotel. People are friendly. I believe the bathroom is newly renovated. Location wise is close to the Lake.

Great food and service

Such a nice stay, love it! Will come again if I visit here.

Difficult to find the hotel, especially at night time, as it is inside a narrow side street close to a cross junction and there is no obvious sign at the entrance of the street. But once you are inside the hotel area, the ambience is adorable. Room is clean and service is good. It is conveniently within 10 minutes walking distance to the city centre and ferry piers.

Nice hotel and food is nice. Only issue need to walk out. But is worth it

座落在湖區最熱鬧的小鎮，出門步行五分鐘就到湖邊的碼頭，坐船很方便，周邊吃飯喝酒的地方也很多。酒店雖然老但很有田園人家的感覺，服務員都很友善，強烈推薦。

在湖區温德米爾湖的 bowness 小鎮，從酒店出來轉個彎下坡就到湖邊碼頭了，景色優美，可以坐船。趕上元旦假期，住宿還是有些緊張的，這裏的早餐很棒，顯示得過獎。停車很方便而且免費，車位就在房子外面。套房外面帶個花園，夏天坐在院子裏應該很舒服
