Cedar Court Bradford Hotel

Good service, quiet room, car parking available for £4/night

The only reason I booked the hotel was that it had a pool. No it doesn't - Pool and sauna closed since covid over 2.5 years but still advertised. virtually no staff so you have to check in and out on a screen. Not what I expected from a 4 star hotel!

Room was very comfortable and had all necessary from hair dryer, iron, plenty of plug sockets. The only fault was the plug in the sink kept getting stuck in the hole. Breakfast was lovely, not rushed and help yourself to anything from the buffet- hot or cold. Large free car park.

Stayed there as part of coach trip - there were many positives - on arrival staff were very pleasant and friendly - dealing with 50 people in a group isn't easy * Room was excellent, bed comfortable,on ground floor ( possible idea to have showers on ground floor for those who would struggle to get out of bath) * Breakfast - Continental - plenty on offer , pastries, cereal, toast, jam, yogurt,fresh fruit, orange,apple juice etc ( some asked for porridge/scrambled egg ( wish I had known sooner but this was accommodated) Then hot food - many complained only vegetarian sausages & didn't like them so maybe a different option pork/beef but maybe not the option to do this .. * Bacon - cook seems to do a range of well cooked & lightly cooked Hash browns,beans, mushrooms etc * The natural yogurt spoon could be changed more frequently ( as some people are messy so yogurt over spoon etc) * Dinner - sadly this was such a letdown - I realise it's hard to keep everyone happy but some of the choices were horrendous * An idea for staff especially for a coach trip - instead of handing a menu option to tick what U want for dinner - sit down with chef each month and find out especially for big events that 3 day evening meal menu and put down on A4 form for 3 days & leave in the room for them to complete or hand over on arrival & then bring down each morning - because some didn't get forms or didn't attend dinner so then didn't complete form which would leave shortage of food prepared... * The staff in morning are very quiet and pleasant ladies and will accommodate where possible.... * Evening meals were disappointing and again lot of mix ups which leaves guests agitated but staff remained calm - ( I realise too some guests U just can't win ) * They had two large weddings on the Saturday which left staff under pressure too, especially when alarms went off at 6.20am as ladies had been flooded from wedding party - some women honestly it's embarrassing how they leave toilets especially NOT THEIR OWN - so additional costs to hotel of plumbers, industrial cleaners etc... * The hotel is close to connections but for anyone left to own devices there is only a garage across the road - I wouldn't feel safe walking about especially at night & lack of activities in hotel left you in Ur room .. overall for a stopover it was a nice hotel and served it's purpose ... * Staff sometimes have a thankless job and they honestly tried their very best accommodating their guests...so thank you...

My partner booked this as a birthday treat to get away for the night, and chaos of our normal lives. Checking in was fine, first glance at the hotel really nice, Food was lovely and staff efficient. Upon checking in was not told about the event happening tonight. So sat in our hotel room right now at midnight it's been boom boom boom since 8pm, I can't sleep I can even hear what songs are playing from our room. I feel this really should of been brought to our attention. I would not of stayed here tonight knowing this event was taking place. And the only way I found out was to go on their website and find the gala ladies night for myself. Will not be having any sleep tonight. I would not return to this hotel and it's really put a dampener on my birthday. Just wanted a nice peaceful relaxed weekend. My advice... Check for any events before you chose this hotel. We stayed in ibiza last year and it wasn't as noisy as this. Horrendous. In future I would make customers aware of your events if they choose to stay on the same night.

Really want to leave a 5 star review. The hotel, the reception staff are amazing. The restaurant.... I have stayed here before and had some of the best food I've ever had. Recently.... Well put it this way, the last time I stayed here I had possibly the best pizza I have ever had, this time, maybe the worst. Started cheaping out on ingredients and putting cheddar on a pizza? Honestly was disgusting, the service in the restaurant was terrible - no check back and no "how was everything" when plates were cleared. I encourage the manager to seriously sort this. As a former restaurant manager myself I know this restaurant alone has the potential to be a gold mine. But I won't eat here again until I know changes are made.

Just returned home from two days staying at the cedar court hotel with my dog George The hotel is very clean big room a great comfortable bed tea coffee making facility had breakfast both mornings lots of choice a great meal to start the day received a complimentary drink at bar with *********** the staff are very nice they make you feel very welcome they even supply a dog bed and bowl and some doggy treats . Had a meal in the restaurant at night on Saturday very tasty . I’ve stayed here a few times it handy for me when i come over from Blackpool to visit family friends. I had the pleasure of being served by Zeya Khan at a dinner and dance event in the main hall, and the experience was fantastic. Zeya provided brilliant service from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. Every detail was handled with care, and Zeya made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. A true asset to the team, and we’ll definitely be back thanks to such exceptional service!
