Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay

We had the most wonderful stay at this fantastic farm! It was absolutely perfect for our child, who had an unforgettable time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, and enjoying the open space. Dani, the host, is absolutely amazing—so welcoming, kind, and attentive to our needs. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, going above and beyond to ensure we were settled and well taken care of. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were cozy, the kitchen well-equipped, and the surroundings peaceful and picturesque, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our child loved feeding the animals, playing outside, and simply enjoying the fresh air. It was a great opportunity for family bonding and relaxation. The farm's peaceful atmosphere and the warmth of Dani's hospitality made this stay extra special. We highly recommend Hideaway farm stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway. Our 2nd visit after two years with our grand daughters this time. The little ones love being in close proximity with the animals - waking up to see the alpaca and lambs wandering just outside our cottage. The animal feeding time was most enjoyed. The cottage is clean and well maintained and we had a wonderful time. Dani was most accommodating and even have the heater turned on prior to our arrival. Thanks Dani for your kind hospitality:-)

The accommodation was clean and tidy, the staff helpful and dedicated to wanting to see the guests have a lovely time! Which we did! We spent a lot of time on the verandah with a coffee in hand just enjoying the beautiful setting. It was a joy to open the blinds, to see the alpacas grazing. Plus I found out that peacocks not only squawk but hoot as well! Check out the video if you didn't know either!!

We are a family of four and stayed in a two bedroom cottage. The cottage is very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. It is very near to the Margaret River town. My boys enjoy feeding the Alpacas, peacocks, chicken/rooster that are roaming freely in the farm. There are 2 or 3 playgrounds. My boys enjoy playing with the toy cars there.

We are a family of four and stayed in a two bedroom cottage with one bathroom. Kitchenette was well equipped and there was an outdoor BBQ which we loved. Self serve washing machines (bring coins) are near the reception. Didn’t use the dryer as there is a drying area and rack in the cottage. Very near the Margaret River town but you do need a car. Alpacas, peacocks, geese roam around which makes this fun for the kids. Would be happy to return anytime for a nice break. WiFi was decent although we we warned it could be spotty but we found it pretty decent.

My family (with 3 young kids aged 3mths-4yrs) stayed here for 5 nights and it was one of the best decisions of the trip! The cottage is absolutely lovely, it was so clean and cosy. It had everything we needed from a baby bathtub/cot to abundance of play spaces for my bigger kids. Dani was so helpful and friendly and the kids really loved feeding the animals. It's clear that the animals are well loved and taken care of here! We'll definitely return when we come back to Margaret River.
