Bramston Beach Motel

What a little gem this place is! We stayed only one night but truly wished we could have stayed longer. Newly taken over and renovated so tastefully. We could not have been more impressed with the hospitality, rooms and the food. The owner showed us on arrival the 2 room types they have; couple or family. As we are travelling with my dad we got 2 queen rooms upstairs. The rooms are spacious, beautifully renovated, comfortable beds, all with ceiling fans and air con. It felt like the rooms were a big hug; especially seeing as it was raining outside. We had dinner at the restaurant below. A good range of wines on the wine list and beers My dad got the meatballs, my partner got the chicken burger and I got the thali plate. Everything was delicious, homemade and generously served. They do live music on the weekends as well. Right on the beach front which has turtles nesting and beautiful walking track. Easily could do day trips to all that is to offer in the region; babinda, Josephine falls, paronella park just to name a few. We will definitely be back to stay longer. Two night school holiday break away from Cairns for our little family of three. Despite some of the terrible reviews under the previous owners, the former motel is being deservedly rebranded as a resort. With only 11 rooms was a quiet place to spend a couple of restful days. The rooms have been done up with new beds and furnishings, renovated bathrooms and were more than adequate. The outdoor restaurant area is casual and welcoming, especially at night. We had a pleasant meal there and the hostess was super fun and entertaining. Service was incredibly fast! Everything was clean, the pool in good order with welcome pool side loungers, and the gardens tidy and appealing. The new management have undertaken a massive task and are to be commended. There are a few details still to be addressed, some of the wiring is er, rustic! The signage to the motel is odd as it takes you to the back, not the feont of the resort! The setting is lovely and it’s a short stroll to the beach and peaceful Bramston foreshore.

This place has terrible service and the wait for food was so long we ended up leaving I would never recommend this place Drive by just keep on driving They also acted like it wasn’t a problem There won’t be a next time
