Quality Inn Branson - Hwy 76 Central

Finding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the strip. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.

This place is really a motel with a scattered, dark parking lot. They post pictures of the rooms inside the one building, but most rooms are old motel rooms with the room door going straight outside. Its false advertising. Had i known, I wouldn't have stayed there

Doesn’t meet expectations The room was run down and old. It had a jacuzzi tub in the room. However it made the room very small. Our room was not cleaned the first day and possibly before we checked in because I stepped on a small piece of glass with my barefoot. There were also worn out places and stains on the carpet. Our room was barely cleaned the second day. Toiletry items were not replaced and the bed was never made the whole time we were there. I saw where several reviews were praising the breakfast. It was all prepackaged food that gave us flimsy plastic wear to attempt to eat it with. The last morning we woke up to the toilet overflowing, even though it hadn’t been used yet. They were prompt to plunge it. Frankly for the money we spent for this hotel, we could have stayed somewhere nicer without all the issues.
