Right in the square of old town Lovely authentic old building. I stayed in the king suite as it was only room to have a bath. It o er looked the noisy square so if you need quiet to sleep it’s not for you. The room was big the bathroom lovely and modern. The bed comfy The pillows were awful. It’s also very warm with no air con so I would imagine horrible in the summer. Breakfast was poor but it is 3 star the eggs were cold ! But it was the perfect location and good value for money my room was cleaned every day

Great location, right in the middle of Old Town. Most of the attractions are within easy walking distance. Reception is quick and easy. Rooms flanked by a central courtyard which is really charming. Good rooms with a large bed and great WiFi. I lost TV reception during a violent thunderstorm, no big deal just watching the news. The bathroom was adequate. Still don’t understand the half panel on the shower. Inevitably the floor gets wet but plenty of hot water. The complimentary breakfast is more than adequate, starts weekdays at 7:30 and weekends at 8. Very reasonably priced, I always go for location.

Lovely hotel, centrally located with friendly staff. Rooms are quite dated but the beds are very big. Breakfast is more than adequate and has good selections. Hotel is also helpful to arrange local tours. As it's based on the main square, it's perfect for all local attractions.

This is tricky. On the one hand, this place has a perfect location right by Brasov's main square, which means that you are close to the action in the city. Moreover, our room was huge, clean and unique (it had a wood burning stove, for instance). In addition, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Parking was offered at another hotel, 5-10 min away from Safrano, for a fee. My issue with this place was sleeping comfort. First of all, our room did not have AC, which meant that the room got very hot. Management tried to alleviate the pain by putting in a fan, but unfortunately it was not sufficient. Also, the bed itself had seen its best days. It was way too soft for me. As a result, I did not sleep many hours the only night we stayed there. It's a pity, because I really liked everything else about the hotel. Then again, if I can't sleep, I can't give my stay a passing grade.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Safrano Palace - the location is superb, right on the main plaza, Piata Sfatului. You could also see the hotel from the White Tower which is sitting right above it. The breakfast was great with many choices of food including Romanian traditional food. The room was enormous with a giant bathroom - it really felt like a palace. The only downside is the walkway to the rooms - after you enter the lobby, you need to walk through the open air hall with grey walls which reminded us somewhat of US motels. I think if the management paints it with different color or spruces it up a bit, it would really improve the vibe. This definitely didn't detract us from enjoying our stay in this wonderful city!

I spent 5 days in a nice clean room. The place is renovated in a vintage chic style, and it is quite comfortable. The breakfast is good and offers a wide choice of food, also suitable for children. The coffee is good, and the juice was Santal (orange, apple, peach). The location is great.

The location is in the perfect place, right in the center of Brasov, with easy access to restaurants. The hotel has no parking spaces you have to pay and walk for about 100-200m. The room we had was a Junior suite but the bathroom was smelling bad, the bed in the main room has an old mattress and was very uncomfortable. First night it was cold in the room but the next night we asked for more blankets and it was better. The breakfast was ok, but if you get after 9 there are many chances you can’t find much to eat.

Great location and huge room. Had Superior Suite, could be the largest room I ever had I Europe. Wish I could give a half star 4.5 rating because two main issues, no ac?! I know the building is old and it’s Europe but ductless units would work well here, if not get some portable fans and units, I asked for a fan and got one that was falling apart. Second the outside lights shine through the bedroom window maybe blackout curtains? Breakfast was fine and really enjoyed the grey location!

Safrano offers good value for money: the location is perfect for visiting Brașov, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast is rich, with many tasty choices and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We spent four days there and it was a wonderful vacation. Highly recommended!
