Hotel Bella Muzica

We have stayed at the hotel several times and never disappointed. The front desk staff is welcoming and breakfast team is extremely hospitable. The only inconvenience is the parking; there used to be access at the rear of the hotel and now you have to walk up the street. It makes it difficult for dragging your luggage to the hotel.

Lovely warm welcome at this well located small hotel. The room was clean & quiet. It also has a small, very atmospheric restaurant in the cellar which we sadly did not use. A tasty buffet breakfast was available. We plan to return to the area, so would definitely stay again at this hotel.

I spent a weekend exploring Transylvania while in Bucharest on business and stayed at Bella Muzica. Online booking via email was painless and the responsiveness was excellent. I arrived Saturday evening and parked at a parking lot just past the hotel on the left beyond the Black Church. It was a short walk down and across the street to the hotel. Service was prompt and the room was quaint, clean and comfortable. It was on an upper floor and did not have a view as the windows were on the side of the roof and cranked out. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was small but did the trick. I made it a point to eat in the cellar restaurant which did not disappoint. Service was prompt and the food was very good. I got a mixed grill of various meats and potatoes as well as a local beer. The only unusual thing was that I ordered a salad and it was served with the main course, not before. The setting was unbelievable. Breakfast the next morning was in the breakfast room on the 1st floor and had a wide selection of fresh items. The only downside was that the orange juice likely needed to be refilled. The location of the hotel is right off the town square and you are able to walk across the street and see all of the sites. I wish my stay was longer but will hope to visit again in the future.

This feels like a traditional family run 3* hotel, my favourite kind and an endangered species. Yes, the rooms are dated, but they are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, right off the main square but away from bars and quiet. Service was very friendly and the price was excellent. The breakfast room is crowded and the staff seemed more interested in gossiping amongst themselves than serving breakfast, my only criticism. I would definitely stay again

We had a great stay in this hotel. It is really well located…across the street from the main square and close to restaurants and shopping. The room is well appointed, clean and a good size. Breakfast offered a decent selection and variety. We had no complaints.

The hotel has a great location , right next to the main square but bare in mind that there is no parking available ( the hotel has a few spots in the back but obviously always full ). There is a parking lot in the vicinity , but not a cheap one if you plan on leaving the car there for all of your stay . The lady in reception was quite nice and accommodating at our arrival but we were surprised by a strong smell of mould in our room on the second floor. I don’t’ know if every room is like this but eventhough the building is an old one , I think that this is not acceptable in 2024. We asked for a another room, but the very bored man in reception on the night shift said that he did not have another room available. Next morning I nicely recommended them to do something about that mould in the future but I got a response similar to : The building is old , there is nothing to do about it 😑 Room was small with classic but outdated furniture but we stayed for a short time and did not mind that. Breakfast was mediocre at most.
