Ideal luxury basecamp nestled amongst the mountains of Breckenridge and only 5 min to town - if you’re coming for epic summer adventure and have sophisticated tastes- this is the place. • 5 bed/ 5.5 bath • Sleeps 11 comfortably • Located in Shock Hill • Interiors by RH • Fireside Hot Tub • Epic Views Basecamp Guest Experience Welcome to Bootsy’s Basecamp, a luxury slope-side mountain home nestled in the mountains of Breckenridge, CO. Our refined and contemporary western aesthetic at the basecamp is inspired by our cowgirl grandmother, Bootsy, a lover of all things horses and western. Bootsy also happens to be a published art historian and collector, so the stakes were high if we wanted the experience to embody her spirit. Bootsy’s backs up to the XC ski and snowshoe trail and is a one-minute walk to the neighborhood’s exclusive private access gondola- getting you to the resort and town in under five minutes. Kitchen The kitchen and dining amenities were selected with the help of our friends at William Sonoma to provide an elaborate in-home entertaining experience. Anything and everything you could imagine needing for an over-the-top holiday meal or celebration will be provided in our chef’s kitchen; from kid-friendly dining ware to all the necessary tools for making a killer charcuterie board, four refrigerators including a wine and champagne subzero and beyond. Great Room The massive Great Room on the main level is the most stunning part of the basecamp, offering magnificent mountain views, an expansive roaring gas fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, a gorgeous dining area with wet bar and wine refrigeration, and a wilderness observation nook (a great place to spot a moose in the summer). Two large, deep couches and ample seating for the entire group surround the fireplace and television, making this the ultimate space for contemporary mountain entertaining, or just relaxing after a memorable day on the mountain. Den The relaxation den on the lower level offers a gas fireplace, television, chessboard, and a plethora of other games suitable for all ages. You will also find a wet bar on this level with the basecamp’s second coffee bar and a built-in mini-fridge with ample space for beverages and snacks. Wellness Room Just off of the den is the wellness room which offers yoga mats and blocks, free weights, kettlebells, and a foam roller. This is an ideal room for meditation, yoga, or stretching after a powder day. Sleeping Quarters All five bedrooms at Bootsy’s are en-suited with an attached full bath and designer bathing products. Each room offers spacious closets and large windows, looking out on a mountain-scape or a view of the mystical Troll Forest. For comfort, we’ve added humidifiers and air purifiers to each room. For entertainment, each room has a television with streaming services. - The lower level includes two bedrooms: the bunk-room (full + twin) and a king bedroom - The main level includes the primary bedroom of the basecamp, which is just off of the kitchen. This king suite also hosts a private balcony with seating, an indoor/outdoor gas fireplace, a spacious bathroom with heated floors, a eucalyptus steam shower, and a luxurious soaking tub with mountain views. - On the upper level, you will find two additional bedrooms: one queen and one king With ample space, up to 11 guests can sleep comfortably*. *This is not the type of vacation rental that attempts to squeeze as many guests as possible with additional air mattresses, etc. We’ve intentionally refrained from that style of management to favor a spacious, comfortable stay with room to decompress when necessary. At Home in Nature Design Concept Wildlife Observation Not only does the basecamp back up to open space and the Troll Forest full of pines, aspens, and a meadow of vibrant wildflowers in the summer, but we also experience an abundance of wildlife all year round. It is not uncommon for Winnie the red fox to hop up onto the hot tub and peek into the windows in the morning, or to walk out of the house to a family of moose munching on the aspens. The nature nook off of the Great Room serves as an observation window to a quintessential Colorado wilderness scene. Across from the observation window is the stunning view of the ski mountain, which can be admired from both the dining table and balcony. Mountain Veranda The large balcony off of the Great Room provides a spectacular alpenglow view and apres-ski hang out. During spring/summer months, cozy up on the large outdoor sectional sofa with loved ones to take it all in for the perfect, peaceful, mountain evening. Hot tub The hot tub off of the lower level den is a private space surrounded by pines and aspens. This is the place where you are most likely to see Winnie the red fox as he likes to clean up crumbs left behind. We’ve also walked out a moose taking a sip out of the hot tub. Seeing wildlife around the basecamp is incredible and we kindly remind guests to not engage with or feed your wildlife neighbors. Superb Location To top it off, Bootsy’s is ski-in/ ski-out with a less than one-minute walk to the only private access gondola in town (no lines), reserved for guests and homeowners of the exclusive Shock Hill neighborhood. The basecamp backs up to the largest system of cross-country ski trails in the U.S, which means you can put your skis on just outside of the door and go for hours. Don’t forget to pack extra water, snacks, and chapstick! For those who aren’t into outdoor adventure, we are just a 5-minute gondola ride/ 10-minute drive/15-minute walk to town, where you can enjoy indoor adventure in the form of shopping, eating, drinking, and people-watching. Kid-Friendly Breckenridge is known for being the most kid/family-friendly ski resort in Colorado, which is why we’ve intentionally selected amenities to help families lighten their trip packing load. The little cub’s den is a multipurpose bunk room with toys appropriate for all ages, a children’s book library, and a Pack ‘n Play. We find that the ultimate play area is outdoors. Just outside are endless trails for walking and biking and the only VIP gondola in town, which takes less than five minutes to get to ski school and the mountain. In the summer months, the mountain is converted into an alpine slide, mini-golf course, and bungee course all to keep the little cubs of the group happy, busy, and worn out for an early night to bed; Giving parents more time to enjoy their peaceful stay in beautiful Breckenridge. Luxury Concierge Bring the Michelin stars to you with our luxury concierge team’s private chef and wine pairing offering. At Your Breck and Call works with guests to curate award-winning private chefs and menu curation specific to your vision. Other services include stocking the fridge with your grocery list prior to arrival and decorating the space for special occasions, birthdays, or holidays on your behalf - Giving you more time to enjoy your peaceful stay in Breckenridge. The Neighborhood: Bootsy’s Basecamp is located in Breck’s most exclusive, multi-million dollar neighborhood, known for its stunning mountain architecture, hundreds of miles of Nordic Ski trails, and the perk of the only private access gondola in town. For winter alpine adventure- Bootsy’s is located along the gondola route and is a one-minute walk from the house. Once you’re on the gondola, the ride to the resort or town is less than five minutes. You also have the option of walking into town, which is a short 20-minutes along a paved road- or taking the scenic route via beautiful hiking trails. In the winter months, the gondola runs from 8:30am-5pm. It closes briefly in the off-season (May - June, and Sept - Mid-Nov) for maintenance. For the most up-to-date gondola hours and information, visit Breck Connect’s website. Restaurants and Nightlife With Main Street being just a 5-minute gondola ride from the base camp, exploring the eclectic restaurant and nightlife scene in Breck could not be easier. Best on-the-go breakfast and coffee: Unravel Coffee at Gravity Haus Semplice Cafe Cuppa Joe Cafe Best dinner (quality food, but casual wear): Blue River Bistro Rootstalk The Blue Fish (great happy hour) Aurum Best dinner for kids: Downstairs at Erics Giampietros Casual Lunch: The Cheese Shop for sandwiches Yo Mammas Cantina For Fine Dining/ Celebratory: Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek Alpenglow Stube in Keystone Traveling with kids? Be sure to check out the Breckenridge Troll, as well as Main Street Station which is the hub of the town and the location for many fun events, like paddle boarding on Maggie Pond, and the Sunday Farmer’s Market (summer months only). It is also where you will find the best candy shop in Summit County. In the Winter, you are just a 5-minute ride to ski school as well, making everything super easy for the entire fam. Ski Bum? The location of Bootsy’s means that you won’t have to sacrifice sleep to get on the mountain early. Come back to the base camp for lunch or to warm up and head back out to shred the gnar. Incredibly convenient for the powder hounds of the group. Not a skier? Enjoy the day reading a book by the fireplace, or head to Main Street for people-watching, shopping, and Summit County’s diverse food scene. Into Wellness? Dryland Fitness, Bhava Yoga, and Psycle 9600 are all just a quick gondola ride from Bootsy’s and offer great options for group classes. Bhava also hosts stand-up paddleboard yoga classes on Maggie Pond in the summer months. For a mountain massage, we suggest Samandi Healing Arts Studio or Breckenridge Bliss Mobile Massage who are available to do services at the base camp with advance notice. Happy Trails to you- Hiking/ biking trails are aplenty in the neighborhood as this is a hike-in-hike-out property. For something on the easier side, we suggest Burro Trail, and to turn it into moderate ke
