Our stay was truly enjoyable — the room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the amenities were of outstanding quality. We especially appreciated the relaxing atmosphere of the spa, which is the perfect way to unwind after a day in the mountains.

Super hotel with great food & facilities. We stayed as a couple but got a large annexe room with a huge bed plus an extra single bed. No view or balcony but we found ourselves spending a lot of time on the terrace area outside the hotel which was lovely and sunny and had nice seating and also had huge fire pits in the evening. We were very lucky to have 7 days of wall to wall sunshine. The in house ski hire was great. So easy & with really helpful staff. The shuttle service was first class with friendly drivers who couldn’t have done any more for you. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, but yes, they could do with another coffee machine or two! I did miss not having any Bircher muesli, but maybe this is something more common in Swiss hotels? The afternoon tea was very impressive with loads of lovely little dishes & there was plenty of it! Dinner was fab with plenty of choice & helpful staff. Maybe some dishes could have been hotter, but we had some really lovely fish dishes & a good choice of salads and vegetables. Our only gripe really, as mentioned by many was the price of the drinks and the lack of tap water at dinner. We didn’t buy any wine & only a few drinks from the bar. We didn’t see many people ordering drinks at dinner with most sticking with the bottled water. We made use of the fridge in the room & the supermarket in town. The drinks in the slopes were significantly cheaper than the hotel. This was our only criticism really. We had a great time & are already planning our return trip next year.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this resort. It’s definitely not a five-star establishment, and here’s why: 1. If you want to order room service, be prepared to pay an extra €15 just for them to bring it to you. For example, if you order a bottle of water, you’ll pay for the water plus the €15 delivery charge. 2. The pool, spa, and gym don’t open until 11 AM, so there’s no way to use them before heading out to ski. 3. The WiFi is incredibly slow and unreliable. 4. The hotel’s façade is illuminated all night with powerful lights, so unless you fully cover your windows, it feels like trying to sleep on a dance floor. 5. The rooms are extremely small. 6. I’m 183 cm tall—not exactly towering—and I can barely fit into the shower. That said, there are plenty of positives: 1. A spacious and welcoming lobby. 2. A well-designed ski room. 3. On-site ski rental. 4. A reliable shuttle service. 5. An excellent buffet. In short, if you’re planning to spend the whole day on the slopes and don’t care much about the accommodations, this place will do the job. But if you need somewhere comfortable for non-skiers or anyone waiting around for you, it’s best to manage your expectations at a four-star level.

My Dad paid for me to go skiing with him as I’m going through some personal problems at the moment. The hotel looks amazing, food was great, although my father had some problems with gluten free items not being labelled, he has coeliac disease and gluten can make him poorly. Staff seemed to struggle with this and on a few occasions told him food was gluten free when it wasn’t. Ski hire in the hotel, Big swimming pool, transport to the ski lifts regularly. You can also ski back to the hotel. Live entertainment - singers musicians DJ all quality performers. Fire pits outside at night with music, pictures and lights projected on to the building. Chefs, Waiters / waitresses, cleaners, maintenance people all very friendly and helpful + some managers / reception staff. The thing that spoilt it for me which I have seen on other reviews, is the hotel takes €280 off your card when you arrive for your bar bill etc…. Problem was they did this with my card and my fathers, so €560 between us. Everything we ordered including holiday tax was all on my dads card, so I had €280 taken out of my account for nothing. Myself and my dad wanted to settle up on our last night and we were spoken to like we were stupid with people on the hotel reception smirking at each other. One lady came across quite rude and could not understand the questions we were asking. She said it can take 2-3 working days to go back on your card. I don’t believe there was any need for this lady to get angry with us for not understanding the hotels flawed system. This lady certainly let down all the hard work her colleagues had put in throughout our stay! Looking at other reviews it has taken weeks to refund other guests. This has left me short of money now for no reason, this system is wrong and no money should be taken before sorting your bill out before you leave.

The hotel, a beautifully renovated former Club Med, boasts a fantastic structure with a stylish, well-thought-out design. Its location is unbeatable, offering direct access to the slopes—when the elevator and carpet function properly (which they usually do, but not always). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the noise isolation could be better. However, the hotel's identity feels confused. It’s neither a true all-inclusive family club nor a genuine luxury resort. They market it as a "lifestyle-oriented concept offering a refined and distinctive experience tailored to a sophisticated clientele"—a nice piece of branding, but ultimately missing the mark. While it claims a 5-star rating, the true excellence of a luxury hotel is lacking. It feels like the only 5-star property in its group, and that inexperience shows. There’s also a subtle but noticeable aversion to children. Despite offering family-friendly accommodations, many key facilities are restricted: the gym is only for 16+ (14+ with an adult), the spa is strictly adults-only—even a 14-year-old can't enter with a parent—and the large (but shallow) pool is also off-limits to unaccompanied minors. It’s as if kids are merely tolerated rather than welcomed. Service is another mixed bag. The hotel has a large, friendly staff, but many seem undertrained and unprepared. Food is a major letdown—despite high expectations, it’s canteen-level at best. Breakfast is particularly frustrating, with just two small, slow coffee machines leading to endless queues—something you’d expect in a budget hotel, not a supposed 5-star. Other quirks? The heating runs on a bizarre schedule (4:30–10:30 AM/PM), leaving rooms uncomfortably cold in the afternoons and early mornings. Evening entertainment is erratic—think generic all-inclusive beach resort vibes, both in style and quality. On the plus side, the in-house ski rental and service are well-run and efficient. However, they don’t accept Amex—completely unacceptable for a high-end hotel and frankly ridiculous. Pricing is where things get truly outrageous. The rooms are already charged at top-tier 5-star+ rates, but F&B and services take it to another level: €5 for water, €10 for an Amaro, €170 for a 50-minute massage, €30/day for parking—the list goes on. For the level of quality and service delivered, this is simply not justified. Verdict? A beautifully designed hotel in a prime location, but overpriced and struggling with its identity. If you’re expecting true 5-star luxury, you’ll be disappointed.

Outstanding spa service. A particular shout out for Annalisa and Luisa who were lovely to deal with at the spa reception and super efficient. Otherwise the hotel was decent but not great. The hotel is sprawling but the design of the space is poor. The breakfast was good except there was an inexplicably few coffee machines which meant there were tedious lines to get a hot beverage.
